BTS.
they ran together, all seven of them, making memories with each other before they inevitably got caught and locked away from the cruel and unfair world.
"Jin-hyung!" The third call snapped him out of his trance. He faced a puffy eyed Jimin who held a bowl of ramen in his hands. Jin smiled weakly, took the ramen from the orange haired boy and thanked him. The boy stood there, facing the floor.
"I'm sorry hyung. It's m-my fault a-and I should le-leave. I-I've caushed too much damage" He tried to swallow his tears but they kept threatening to spill. He wiped his eyes and got ready to leave, Jin stopped him.
"Jimin" he said softly, making Jimin hault just in front of the door. Jimin hesitently turned, expecting Jin to yell, just like Namjoon did.
"It's not your fault. You made a comment that wasn't false at all. Sure it made him mad but he's at fault here chim, he shouldn't be so defensive like that. Being gay isn't a bad thing. It isn't illegal. It isn't sinful. It's love" Jimin smiled shyly, nodding. Jin patted the space beside him. Jimin climbed into the bed beside his hyung.
Jin went back into his trance as he slurped the noodles. Jimin sat silently as he usually did, deep in thought.
Namjoon's never coming back.
It was like a chant.
Namjoon's never coming back.
Soon it turned into other chants, all at once. It hurt Jin's head.
I'm not a fag.
You're a fag.
Gay boy.
He's disgusted.
You disappointed him.
"We should finish the tree hyung" Jimin suggested, noticing Jin's face was black. He was thinking. Thinking at times like this was never a good thing to do.
"Alright. I'll finish my noodles and get changed into some pyjamas. These jeans are getting annoying. Go get Taehyung" Jimin nodded, hopped out of bed and ran off to get Taehyung. Jin finished his noodles.
He chuckled to himself, noticing how similar they really were to a family. Namjoon and Jin were the parents. Namjoon had walked out and now it was Jin's job to cheer up his 'kids'. He could tell Jimin wanted Namjoon to come back. In fact, they all wanted him to come back, it was as clear as day.
Jin changed, looking out of his bedroom window when done. It was dark already, the snow still falling. Please come back Namjoon.
"Jin-hyung! They're playing Red Velvet on the TV! Hurry!" Jimin called up the stairs. Jin smiled and walked downstairs to his living room. Taehyung and Jungkook (who Jin was surprised to see was still there) had brought the decorations from the garage. The TV was on a music station, Red Velvet's newest song Peek-A-Boo played. Jimin was dancing cutely when Jin came in while Taehyung and Jungkook went through the boxes.
"My brother took his girlfriend to see Red Velvet last month. Kinda jealous to be honest" Jungkook said, watching the orange haired boy dancing. When Jimin saw Jungkook looking at him, he blushed and stopped, quickly taking a seat on the couch. Jungkook winked at him before going back to the decorations. Suddenly Jimin's phone dinged.
"Yoongi!" he whispered, gasping. He quickly unlocked his phone and typed a reply to Yoongi. Jin was sure Jimin had a crush on this Yoongi guy.
"Oh my god!" Jimin squealed after five minutes of quick tapping on his phone screen. The three turned to look at the boy who was to excited he was crying. He turned to them.
"Yoongi can come here! He's coming on Friday! Jin-hyung can he stay here? If it's not too much bother? He can take my usual bed, I'll sleep on the couch" Jin chuckled and nodded. Jimin squealed. His phone began ringing. He squealed again and ran off to the kitchen.
"Young love" Jin said, feeling a slight pain in his chest.
"Oh, he has a boyfriend?" Jungkook asks, slightly disappointed. Jin shrugs.
"I don't know what they are but they've been talking for ages and every time they do Jimin's face goes red and he squeaks every five seconds" Taehyung says. He was slightly upset that Jungkook seemed disappointed but Jimin was already dating, sort of? That still gave him some sort of chance. What was he thinking, he never had a chance in the first place. Jungkook was too pretty for him.
"Oh right. What about you. Do you have a boyfriend?" Jungkook asked almost teasingly. Taehyung went red and shook his head quickly.
"Uh no I uh, I don't really know if I'm uhm, gay" he stuttered out, feeling slightly uncomfortable. Jungkook just nodded, deciding not to drag it out after what happened after last time somebody was accused of being gay around there.
At this point, the pain in Jin's chest had grown. He felt like his throat had tighted up. He felt panicky. Taehyung had noticed his hyungs expression and became very worried.
"Oh my god Jin? Are you okay?" He quickly got up and rushed to Jin's side. Jin burst into tears, crying into Taehyungs- well his sweater. Taehyung rubbed his back, soothing him.
"It's okay, everything's going to be okay I'm sure. Please don't cry Jin"
"How can you even say that. He's probably freezing to death and I can't do anything about it. God damn it" Jin said, furiously wiping his eyes.
"Hey. Don't think like that. He'll be fine okay? He's probably just out walking. Just please don't talk like that. We all need him to be okay"
