TAEHYUNG.

The month of November had soon passed into December. It snowed heavily the third day of the month, leaving the four boys snowed in at Jin's large house. Namjoon was living with Jin for the winter. Jin had somehow convinced Namjoon that he'd die if he didn't, Namjoon was still slightly confused but went with it. Jimin basically lived with them too. He would break for the winter holidays soon, then he'd be able to ditch his parents house.

Yoongi had found a job in Seoul. It was restocking CD's in an old record store that smelled like dust and hair wax but it earned him money.

Hoseok was getting better. The boys visited him twice a week, usually with weird movies they'd find in the old movie store that Jimin had a summer job in once. He felt happier than he did before. His family had promised to work less and spend for time with their kids. His sister had promised to visit frequently. Things we looking up.

Taehyung had met up Jungkook after their encounter at the river. He'd learnt more about Jungkook, Jungkook learning more about them. If you saw them you'd think they were best friends of forever. You'd think Taehyung was the sixteen year old. You wouldn't see that they were both lonely and messed up.

"Jin-hyung?" Taehyung asked, peeking his head around the door of the living room. Jin was sat on one of the couches watching television as the fire crackled in front of him. The two were left at home alone. Jimin and Namjoon had gone to get a tree from a near by farm. Jin claimed that his leg hurt. Really he just didn't wanna go out in the cold. Taehyung barely left the house unless it was to see Jungkook so there was no use asking there.

"Hmm?" He hummed in response, not taking his attention away from the drama he'd been binge watching for he entire day. Taehyung stepped inside, deciding it was a lot warmed and better in there.

"Do you think my new friend could help us put up the tree? I just want you guys to meet him and I don't think he's ever put up a tree before" Jin paused the show, looking at Taehyung with a raised eyebrow.

"Tae, be honest. Is your new friend an animal of some sort. That's totally cool but I don't know how comfortable I'm with animals in my house. I mean I have Namjoon already" Taehyung looked at his socks, heat rising on his face.

"No, he's a person. I promise" he mutters. He knew Jin was referring to when he brought a stray cat home and it tried to eat Jin's candle collection. They ended up taking it to a shelter so it didn't try to eat anymore of Jin's house. Taehyung was sad but Jin made up for it by cooking dinner that night.

"Then sure. God is that the time. I should start dinner. It's good you told me before I started cooking. He can stay for food now too" Taehyung smiled and nodded. He couldn't wait to introduce Jungkook to his family. He called them family. Jin was like his mom, Namjoon his dad and Jimin his brother. Maybe Jungkook could be his other brother.

Jin got up and walked out of the living room, leaving Taehyung to sit on the carpet in front of the fire and text Jungkook.
