JUNGKOOK

The boys had soon woken up and headed home out of the cold. The last thing they wanted was to catch a cold, especially when they all lived together. That thing would be going around for at least five months.

As they arrive home, they crash on the couch. They felt it was probably best to thaw out before actually doing anything with their day. It was still early so the group of seven settled comfortably. Namjoon and Jin went up to bed, Taehyung and Jungkook stayed on the giant beanbag, Hoseok lazed on the couch while Yoongi and Jimin sat on the couch.

Taehyung and Jungkook were cuddled up, Jungkook stroking the older boys hair and humming while he slept. Jungkook couldn't get back to sleep, he just needed to warm up a little. So they stayed in front of the fire, all cozy and warm.

Jimin had his head in Yoongi's lap. He jutted him lip out and pulled funny faces at Yoongi who just watched, chuckling at the younger boys expressions. If only he could kiss his pouting lips. He doubted Jimin would be happy with him. Jimin had always said he wanted his first kiss to be special.

Hoseok was sleeping, too tired to care that he was surrounded by couples. He didn't really mind. He wasn't particularly interested in his love like, more focused on actually becoming happier with himself. Focusing on his friends and his happiness made him well, happy.

"I want hot chocolate" Taehyung whined, his voice thick and deep with sleep. Jungkook shrugged, pretending that Taehyung's voice didn't effect him in the worst way.

"You'll have to wait Tae, Jin's sleeping" Jungkook said softly. Taehyung simply pouted. His eyes were still shut and he was clearly still very tired. Jungkook continued to stroke the boys brown and green hair while humming the tune to a Justin Bieber song he'd heard at one point in a convenience store.

When it comes to you, there's no crime.

Jungkook was truly mesmerised with Taehyung at this point. He'd made out he was a playboy and before he kinda was. He flirted with Jimin and had thought about trying to flirt with Jin but after what'd happened with Namjoon he figured he'd best stay out of their relationship. But, Taehyung made him smile. Even when they'd first met and he'd sorta pulled a knife out on him, Taehyung was still the chirpy and slightly odd guy that was pestering him in the first place. He was scared and that showed but who could blame him, you'd be concerned if a kid you just met pulled a knife out on you.

Jungkook didn't want his loving side to show. Emotion was an enemy of him for many years. He'd been brought up with violence because of his brothers delinquency and he'd missed his mother so much. He refused to stay home. He smoked, he drank, he fought. He was troublesome. His only outlet was drawing. He did it often and even when there was gangs looking for him, he'd sit a doodle in a hidden spot like an abandoned.

When Taehyung found Jungkook he'd just ran out of a fight. He hadn't gotten hurt, he'd got away quick enough. He was afraid he'd go out one day and they'd see him. He was afraid they'd hurt Taehyung and his friends that had so openly accepted him even after the night with Namjoon.

"You're thinking too hard" Taehyung murmured. Jungkook looked down at the resting boy. His eyes were now open and he looked concerned.

"What?" Jungkook said with furrowed eyebrows.

"You're tense. You're either angry or thinking too hard. Let your mind rest love" he smiled. Jungkook simply nodded, slightly dumbfounded by Taehyung's observation. He was tense alright. The veins in his arm became visible and his expression was one of reflection and deep thought.

"Tae, can we go out today?" Jungkook asks quietly. Taehyung shrugs.

"Depends when. I'm still cold y'know" he mused, a smile on his pursed lips. His eyes were still closed, his voice was deeper than usual.

"I'll wrap you up well. I wanna go to the railway while it's snowing" It's crazy how they slept with the snow and the cold really. Jungkook was surprised they survived though Yoongi seemed like he could be becoming sick. He'd mentally noted to stay away from him for a little while.

"That's a nice idea. I can take my new camera" he beamed. Jungkook chuckled and nodded.

"Sure you can. I'm gonna get ready. Follow me when you're ready" He said, kissing the boy's forehead and climbing off of the beanbag. He ran upstairs to the room he had started sharing with Taehyung. He grabbed a sweater, a warm coat and his only pair of Timberlands that his brother had got him for the only birthday he'd managed to remember, the year after their mothers death. He was surprised they still fit.

"I'm going to need the biggest sweater ever. It's so cold out there" Taehyung said as he walked into the bedroom wrapped in a blanket looking a little bit like E.T. Jungkook chuckled and nodded.

"You can borrow one of mine. Some of them are itchy but my mom knitted good sweaters" The words rolled off of Jungkook's tongue calmly before he realised what he'd said. Taehyung didn't know much about Jungkook's home life aside from he hated his brother and his dad. He'd never heard 'mom'. Jungkook quickly brushed it off by grabbing a large sweater.

"Here, take care of it please" Taehyung could see the sentiment in Jungkook's eyes. He vowed to take care of the sweater as he wore it, even if he was a very clumsy boy. He was greatful that Jungkook had trusted him with it. One day he might learn about Jungkook's mom. But it wasn't urgent. Taehyung understood that if it wasn't spoken of often then it probably wasn't a comfortable topic for him.

It really was.

hey
i decided to update again instead of playing video games bcs i missed writing

vkook was my first kpop ship and i love it the girls i used to hang around with were hardcord jikook shippers and i just sorta sat in my vkook stanning corner with a video of Jungkook singing nothing like us near Taehyung's video on repeat.

thing about shipping it when people kinda take it too far and make people uncomfortable with it. also saying somebody cant ship something bcs one of the pair is your bias. we have to remember that people have their own opinions and also that the people you ship are real people who have emotions and see things on the internet. don't hurt friendships with overboard ships. shipping something because it's cute is no issue but when people take it too far it makes people uncomfortable and this is turning into rambling oops.
you get the message ig?

(i love how im saying this but im writing fiction about it?? i mean it's fiction lol i also don't expect bts to read this and i suppose if you don't ship things you'd see the tags? idk im sorry if that seemed hypocritical im awkward and not good at making points???)

anyway back to being not serious rei bcs this is a fun book.

reminder that this book is entirely fiction and that it's only loosely based off of the run and i need u mv's. some events will take place but not exactly the same because i can never pay that much attention to mv's. my seokjin stanning ass can only focus on jin half the time anyway so mv's are hard.

anyway better cut this before the author's note is longer than the actual chapter.

hope y'all enjoyed
