YOONGI.

Yoongi's train pulled into Incheon station at one fifty-two. He was so excited to see his small, squishy orange haired mochi who he knew was waiting for him at the entrance with his friends. So excited that he nearly ran to the entrance of the train station, careful not to bump into anyone or piss off any of the guards. He was at the entrance by one fifty-four, looking around for any sign of Jimin.

That's when he heard the most angelic laugh he'd ever been blessed to hear. The laugh belonged to Jimin, Yoongi knew it. He knew it from the countless phone calls they had when Yoongi had enough money to go to a phone box and call him for a while. It was his favourite to do back home, talk to Jimin.

Yoongi froze on the spot when he heard Jimin's laugh. He felt tears pricking at his eyes. He was about to meet the only person that had been really with him for the past year. Jimin had been Yoongi's number one fan, always supporting him even if he was physically. But now he was. He was right there but he couldn't move.

What if I disappoint Jimin, just like I did with my parents. His anxiety soon kicked in, telling him all the things he didn't wanna hear. So he ran off. He found the stairs to fire escape and sat underneath them, hiding from the angelic boy who'd been so excited to see him. He's excited to know me but he won't be excited when he does.

He sat there for half an hour. His phone was spammed with calls and messages, all from Jimin. He'd probably left by then, disappointed.

Why am I such a disappointment?

JIMIN

He stood me up. Perhaps Taehyung was right, perhaps he was some old guy stalking him. That photo could be a photo off of google. He sounded a lot older than he said he was, perhaps it was all a lie. Perhaps, I'm caught in a lie.

The group waited half an hour but there was no sight of the mint haired boy. Jimin thought he'd seen him at one point but he must've been dreaming. Jimin told his friends to leave. Despite all his negative thoughts he still had hope. There was still the possibility he'd got the wrong train or he'd missed the train that had come earlier.

He decided he'd go up to the roof. Sure, Yoongi wouldn't see him there but he just wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle. It made his head hurt, looking through all the people. He headed for the fire escape, getting his phone out to text Yoongi for the thirty-second time. That's when he heard sniffles and muttered cursing. He furrowed his eyebrows and walked around the corner to underneath the old fire escape.

Jimin was faced with a small, pale mint haired boy who was crying into his knees, mumbling to himself in a Daegu dialect. He knew who it was instantly, as soon as he saw the head of mint hair and the all black clothes.

"Yo-Yoongi hyung?" Jimin whispered, tearing up at the sight of the panicking male. Jimin knew about Yoongi's anxiety and could relate but he'd never seen a panic attack or really a sign of panic from Yoongi. It was because Jimin made Yoongi happy and calm. Jimin was Yoongi's happy place.

"Chimchim" Yoongi whispered, looking up to Jimin with glassy eyes. Jimin rushed to his side, bringing his friend into a hug. In Yoongi's moment on vulnerability, Jimin was at his side because though it was their first time meeting, he still wanted to protect his precious friend at all times.

They sat under the fire escape for another half an hour before Jimin suggested they went home, he didn't want Yoongi to catch a cold. Yoongi reluctantly followed Jimin as he lead the way to Jin's house. The walk was short but full of chatter. They talked about Yoongi's trip, well, Jimin mostly rambled trying to take Yoongi's mind off of the panic. Though he looked bored and tired, he was still thankful for Jimin's rambling as it did the trick.
