JIMIN.
That night, the group of six sat in front of the fire, laughing at old anicdotes and Taehyung's craziness. They were drinking hot chocolate crafted by the one and only Namjin. Well, Namjoon was there for moral support really. Jin made the hot chocolate as he let Namjoon watch, not fully trusting Namjoon with hot water or the cocoa powder. It was either a trip to A+E or chocolate powder all over his kitchen floor. He chose the 'let him stand back and watch' option.
They also blasted Super Junior and SHINee through Youtube of the TV, dancing like a bunch of loons, Jimin and Yoongi watching from the couch. Yoongi was not used to the mad house yet so he sat, watched and cried with laughter. Jimin and Yoongi sat on the couch together, talking about all the things they couldn't talk about over text, sipping the best hot chocolate there was.
"I'm so happy your here. When Hoseok gets well enough to come here, we'll be a whole family" Yoongi had heard of Hoseok. He knew about Jimin saving him and helping him. Jimin visited him at least three times a week and they'd become quite close. They usually watched movies, ate food or when Jin came with, laughed at Jin's dancing 'amazing' dancing.
Hoseok's family had agreed to letting Hoseok stay with Jin which was rather surprising. His mother had said that he seemed happier than he'd ever been at home. She said she knew they'd treat him well and she'd obviously visit often. Hoseok was over the moon with this news. The doctors even said he could be home before Christmas (with therapy visits still) and that he was making amazing progress with everyone around.
Jimin's anxiety was lessening too. If he was anxious, Jin would see it and ask him to help bake or ask him to watch drama re-runs with him. He was a lot happier on the whole. But, his parents were worried. They hadn't met anyone he was disappearing with and they'd started to notice his absence. Jimin had missed two weeks of school all together. After Christmas he'd promised Jin to go every day but he was scared. School was hard and everyone there seemed to dislike him.
They all found therapy in each other. All of them were improving greatly. Namjoon had accepted his sexuality and was open about it. He's apologised to Jimin for yelling and thanked him for helping him realise. Taehyung was still complex as ever. It seemed that Jungkook was the only one who understood him. Jungkook had improved too. Though he'd argued with his family, they'd agreed to let him stay with Taehyung for Christmas.
It was Jimin's parents who were the concern then. Jimin doubted they'd say yes as Christmas was a time for tradition and family but the guys at Jin's where his family. Jin was his mom, Namjoon his father, Taehyung, Hoseok and Jungkook were his brothers and Yoongi was, Yoongi. He had to make his parents realise what the group did for him so he decided to plan something.
The next day he went home, bringing Yoongi with him so he could meet his parents. Yoongi was nervous but happy that Jimin would even consider introducing him to his parents. It made him feel special and wanted.
"Mom? Dad? Jihyun?" Jimin called into the house as the two entered. Footsteps where heard and Jimin's sixteen year old brother Jihyun appeared at the top of the stairs. He raised his eyebrows looking slightly shocked before walking down the stairs.
"Mom's cooking and dad's in his study. Why are you here?" Jihyun asks. Jimin scowls at his younger brother before flicking the youngers head.
"Have some respect hyunnie, I'm your hyung" He said, walking towards the kitchen as his brother rubbed his forehead. Yoongi followed Jimin, looking at the photos of baby Jimin and most likely baby Jihyun as they walked down the hallway. Jimin entered the kitchen quietly. His mother had her back to him, cooking away at the stove.
"Jihyunnie, could you pass me the salt from the cupboard up there?" his mother said, assuming it was the younger of the Park's.
"It's me mom" Jimin said, getting the salt for his mother nontheless. She dropped her spoon and turned her head. Sure enough the eldest of her two sons stood there, salt shaker in hand. Jimin expected her to be shocked, he was barely home. Though she didn't show it, she still worried about her son.
"Park Jimin! I'm been worried about you! Gosh I'm surprised your home. I suppose this is your new roommate then" She said, nodding to Yoongi who was awkwardly stood at the door. Jimin nodded and passed her the salt.
"Well, one of them. I wanted to talk to you momma, jus-"
"You are not moving there Jimin. You're eighteen years old you can't leave this house until you're at least twenty! Besides you still have your studies. Don't think I don't know about you skipping class" Yoongi could tell by Jimin's red ears it was about to get ugly.
"Yeah well if you knew anything about me or my life then you'd listen to me right now. These people who you've had no interest in meeting at all are the reason I'm not getting beat up and getting called a fag. This boy over here has been one of my only friends until recently and I figured as my mother you might wanna actually talk about my life and what I want to do" he shouted back. His mother's jaw clenched.
"Fine. I'm getting your father. Let's see what he has to say about this. Take the food off the hob before it burns" she hisses before leaving the room. Jimin sighs and takes the pan from the hob before turning to Yoongi.
"I'm sorry you have to see this Yoongi"
"It's alright, I'll be here for you Chim"
