as the days went on and on, blake's interest toward niall grew. where was he though? they met once throughout the whole week. he didn't say where he was and why blake and him haven't been able to hang around each other as much. when she thought about him she couldn't help but smile. it seemed that the only reason she came out of her house was because of him. blake forgot how it felt to be outside around people rather than being inside, locked up in her bedroom. when she didn't see niall outside, she'd just do that but sometimes she'd just stay outside for the good of it.

currently, blake was sitting on her bed thinking.

she wished she had exchanged numbers with niall just to check up on him. was niall avoiding her? blake felt that was the reason, but she just hoped that it wasn't. she had just felt free and loved the feeling of it, she didn't want to start punishing herself again like she always did. this was one of the reasons blake hated associating with people, it always felt like they tried to run away from her. it's why she locked herself in her room. she thought she wasn't good enough to have friends.

avery wasn't at home this morning, she was at summer school. so it was only blake and her mum today. blake decided to go downstairs and make herself breakfast. whilst walking down the stairs, she tried to fix her knotted hair. she was aware of how messy it was but didn't bother to stop in front of a mirror to part it into a ponytail.

when blake approached the kitchen her mother wasn't there which was most likely to be in her bedroom now, or maybe she wasn't home after all. it was too quiet it the house.

sighing, blake pushed her pink hair that was falling over her eye away and began to grab the pans, plates and spoons to cook. when she finally cracked the first egg onto the pan, there was a sudden knock at her front door. she rolled her blue eyes, making her way to the door.

she looked out the window adjacent to the door, seeing a middle aged man with a bunch of letters in his hands. it was the mail man.

blake opened the door, smiling at the man in front of her.

"hello." he greeted her, "here's your mail, darling. have a great day." he handed her the letters, then walked back into his truck driving off.

there were about six letters in her hand, there was one letter that was different than all the others. it was in a plain yellow envelope, the writing on the front of it was sloppy that you'd have trouble with it. her curiosity was what made her open the envelope and she was extremely happy she did. her eyes scanned the words written on the paper that had been inside the envelope; a gigantic smile appeared on her face along with a few tears sliding down her face only a few minutes after.

it's been forever and it finally came. blake's been waiting for this day and now that it has come she's doing thousands of summersaults in her mind. so much happy thoughts ran through her mind, it finally overtook her actions and she jumped up and down like an idiot as she threw her hands up into the air.

"oh god, finally." she finally uttered, wiping the joyful tears of her face.

niall rested his head on his pillow, letting out a tired sigh. he was home all day for an important reason which caused him to stay. if he left and something happened he'd be disappointed in himself. his mum wasn't feeling well, she hasn't been in awhile. there she had been diagnosed with cancer last year, she made it and was doing fine until now. she's blind in her left eye but her eyesight in her right eye was beginning to get affected. the doctors recommended her to stay in bed for the sake of how she is feeling, only little of her hair has fell out but that doesn't matter. niall feels like she can make it through. he knows so.

a teeny tiny part of him feels horrible for not being about to tell blake about this whole situation, but he doesn't know if he should. he wishes he could be at the park sitting on the bench they usually sat on right now, but he couldn't. niall wondered what blake had been thinking. did she think he didn't want to be around her anymore? he hoped she didn't. he liked her a lot, she was different than most people, it was one thing he enjoyed about blake. she was mysterious. she didn't say much about herself which made him want to talk to her even more. it was so much suspense. he liked it.

"niall!" his mum called his name, "come here, please!"

when he heard her voice shouting for him he quickly jumping onto his feet, jogging to his mothers' bedroom. as he walked into the room soundless, he leaned into the doorway looking at his mother. she was in her pink nightgown, sitting up watching television. he didn't know how she did it, especially since her vision was fading away from her. niall wondered how she hadn't gave up yet, but at the same time he was glad she didn't.

he coughed loudly, signalling her that he was in the room with her. "yeah?"

"sorry babe, but would you please pass me my water? i have no idea where it went." she crossed her arms frustratedly.

he grabbed the water bottle that appeared to be sitting on the floor right beside her bed, he then set it slowly into her hands so she wouldn't spill it. "that's it?" he asked politely.

his mother nodded, before returning to her show that she was watching or listening to previously.

"can i go out?" niall questioned. he wanted to make sure he could be able to leave the house without her worrying. niall wasn't sure if wanted to leave or not, but he just wanted to be outside just for a few minutes. he was desperate to seek for blake, he missed her. it would make his day just to see her; he made her smile, which made him smile.

"of course, but why are you a,ways so eager to go now?"

his lips twitched into a grin as he thought of blake's flowing pink hair, it was so unusual. he wanted to question her about it. "i met a girl named blake, mum." he stood in front of his mother, stuffing his hands into his pockets. "she's great, and i really like her. she's different, it makes me wonder so much things about her. i just love the feeling of being around her, it just makes me feel incredibly overwhelmed. she's like this beautiful girl, but the thing is she seems so unconfident which makes me a tad angry. she's amazing."

as he finished his sentence, he watched his mother's lips turn up into a gigantic smile. "niall, go on now. you don't want to miss her do you?" she lets out a plain chuckle, "she's probably waiting for you."
