blake sat down on her front step smiling, her blue eyes were filled with joy and excitement. she was just waiting for avery to arrive to tell her the news. blake needed to tell someone as soon as possible, she felt so incredible. she never thought that this day would happen, but it did.

she can already see avery's huge grin coming up onto her mind. they both waiting for this letter, as well as their mother. they all did. it mean't so much to them, he finally wrote. he never forgot about the promise which made her even more excitable. every time her mind drifted off into another topic it would be almost about a second later that the letter would hot back into her mind.

it was minutes and minutes, and literally a few hours until it was four in the afternoon. it was soon after avery came walking up the driveway to the flat. blake's neutral face finally went back to being excitable and jumpy, she quickly jumped up onto her feet and raced toward avery, attacking her with a tight hug. the hug became longer, tighter and bigger as blake rested her head on avery's.

"i can't breathe." avery said dramatically, pushing her older sister away from her, "and why are you so happy today?"

grabbing her wrist, blake hurried her into the house, locking the door behind them. she swiftly grabbed the yellow envelope from the kitchen counter, handing it to avery. "read it, avery."

it was easy to see that avery's face expression changed to curiousity, she opened it, beginning to read the little paper with messy cursive writing. blake watched as avery's eyes filled with tears, she began to laugh while she blinked rapidly to prevent the tears from falling, "he wrote us - dad finally wrote us, blake." avery said, pulling her sister in for a hug.

blake nodded, hugging her sister back before kissing the top of her head softly. she muttered something, but it was too low for avery to hear her.

words couldn't explain how euphoric they felt. blake hasn't felt this way in so long; it felt so right. she loved the feeing of it, she's never smiled so long or big in her life. it's been awhile and she just couldn't wait for her mum to get home so she can tell her everything. both blake and avery wanted to see the look on their mother's face when she found out about the letter. in the letter he said blake and avery's nickname which made them feel twice as happy, it also make them giggle just a little bit.

there was this one part in blake that wanted her to read the letter, and she did so,

'dear bea, avie and myra,

your dad/husband'

when niall arrived at the park, he pushed through people looking around for blake. he couldn't seem to find her. had she left already? he kept searching and kept searching until he finally gave up, she wasn't here at all. she was here almost all the time, but now she isn't. there were only two places she could've been and niall knew exactly where.

if she wasn't at the park, then she'd most likely be at her mother's bouquet shop and if not there then she'd definitely be at her house. niall had no clue as to where blake lived though, so there was only one thing to do. he had to basically go to the bouquet shop to see if blake was there, if she wasn't he'd just simply talk to her mom about it. it wasn't difficult. it'd only be difficult if her mum thought niall was a creep.

quickly, he ran out of the park, making his way down the block to the shop. it wasn't far from the park, he'd just have to walk down a few blocks and then finally he was at his destination. niall shoved his rough - large hands into his jeans. he sighed before entering the shop, the bell above the door rang, signalling his arrival.

"hello, what do you need today?" the lady behind the counter says; he can tell by the woman's face that it's blake's mum. as he stared at her, she looked so much like blake but much older. her blue eyes looked so familiar, it reminded niall so much of blake.

"i'm a close friend of blake, i haven't seen her today. she's usually at the park waiting for me and she's not today, i really wanted to meet up with her today so if there's any way for me to get in touch with her? i just really want to talk to her. i like her a lot, and i just figured you were her-"

"oh, you didn't have you say so much. what's your name?"

"niall."

she nodded, a grin spread out across her face. she ended up grabbing niall's hand and squeezing it softly. "thank you so much, niall." she spoke, "you don't get how much it means to me that she's actually met someone that she's liked herself. she's actually leaving the house just to see you, thank you."

niall didn't know why she was so happy about her daughter being around him, was her daughter different before him? did she never leave the house until niall? whatever it was, niall felt extremely proud of himself. he liked blake so much, she was so fascinating. niall never really felt so attached to someone before, why was it that blake caught niall's eye? she was gorgeous and he knew that she felt insecure, there was no reason for that. blake should know how beautiful she was, although she never spoke much, every time she did talk it was like a absorbing ring to niall's ears. he liked her so damn much.

a/n; yeah this chapter was shit but you know more about blake's father. make sure to vote, comment and give me a follow because that helps me out a lot, thanks. :)x
