the first thing blake did when she heard niall was at the hospital, she ran inside her house to get her mother's keys. she told her that there was something going on with niall's mother, and she needed to be there with him. blake wanted to be there to comfort niall, she wanted to tell him that everything would be alright.

she didn't exactly know what was happening at the moment with his mother, but she just wanted to be there as soon as possible.

it wasn't long until she finally hopped into the car and arrived at the hospital. the first person she saw was niall, he was outside the hospital, his eyes were puffy and red. blake jogged toward him, swinging his arms around his body to hug him tightly. she started to whisper comforting things into his ear, rubbing circles into his back.

"is she alright? where is she?" blake asked, still hugging niall.

"no she's not, blake. she's in so much pain, they had to bring her back again because her heart gave out once again." he cried into her shoulder, gripping her shirt as he cried harder.

"so what's happening now?"

"they're giving me an option." he stopped for a second, before continuining. "they're telling me i have the option that if her heart gives out once more if they should keep trying or let her go.."

niall coughed, grabbing her hand and pulled her inside the hospital with him. they sat on the chairs in the waiting room, waiting patiently for the doctor to come back. niall had told blake that they needed to check her out before telling them how she's acting, all he wanted were for things to be fine, but apparently nothing was fine. this made him want to cry more that he might be losing him mum.

blake's eyes were drooping, it seemed like forever until the doctor came to tell him what was going on.

the news he gave them wasn't good at all, niall broke down, pulling at his hair. even though blake didn't really know niall's mother, she cried too. she rubbed up and down his back as he covered his mouth as tears rushed down his face.

"she can't be gone." niall wiped his eyes, resting his head on blake's shoulder.

"i'm so sorry, niall. she's in a better place now, a place where she won't be suffering. wherever she is now, i'm sure that she's safe." blake cooed.

"you're right."
