niall stood in front of blake's flat, he was reasoning with himself if he should go and knock on her door or come back later. he wanted to see her terribly. yes, he was desperate. he really liked her, she was just so beautiful and her voice were like silver bells to his ears. although blake never talked much, niall was happy that at most times she'd actually speak to him.
his eyes ran over the small but homely looking house, he began making his way toward the door. niall raised his fist, intending to knock on the door but as if on cue, the door was opened. he saw a familiar -- causal pink haired girl. his lips turned up into a wide smile, "hey, blake." blake had a blank expression on her face, but still she let him walk into her small house.
"why're you here, niall?" blake smiled, she looked surprised of my presence. she looked at me with a bit of curiosity, too. "how do you know where i live?"
the way her voice sounded made a smile creep its way onto niall's lips, "you're mother, she told me where you lived. i needed to see you, blake."
blake looked so eager, she grabbed his wrist and hurried up the stairs, dragging him up right behind her until they finally ended up until blake's bedroom. she pushed niall onto her bed, and stood right in front of him.
"wow, what was that for?" niall asked curiously, still smiling but this time even wider.
the letter that blake's father sent to blake's family was on her dresser, she grabbed it quick and handed it to niall. she's been waiting to tell someone about the letter other than her sister and her mother, she was just so excited. it's been so long since blake has been waiting for a letter form her father and finally it happened. at first, blake thought that he was gone forever but she's glad that he finally answered.
she watched as niall's expression changed from neutral to surprised, a smile smile appeared on his lips.
"blake, how come you never told me about this?" he got up and hugged her tight, "this is great!"
nodding, blake hugged niall back, digging her head into her neck area. niall was so nice to blake, it was the reason why she started to like him more than she did before. he was sweet. even though blake didn't like talking as much, she'd mostly talk around him more, she could finally be herself around him. blake found a different side of herself, a side that wasn't boring. it was a side of her where she was more outgoing and didn't lock herself up in her room reading novels or listening to music all day.
"sorry i didn't tell you." blake said with a low voice, smiling shyly.
"it's fine, but this is great!"
"yeah." she smiled even wider, "but why're you here?"
niall played with his fingers nervously, he wanted to see her, but also he wanted to ask her a question before he left. inside he hoped she wouldn't say no to him after he asked her. he liked her a lot and wanted to get to know her more than he does now, niall thought he was the most beautiful girls he has ever saw and he didn't want to miss the opportunity.
he breathed in and breathed out slowly, "i-i, well, i wanted to know if you- uh, wanted to go on a date with me?"
in blake's mind she was screeching, she was cheering and doing summersaults. she liked niall a lot; niall liked her just the same, she's been waiting for him to ask her out on a date for the longest. just because she hasn't thought of it as much didn't really mean anything, she kept it inside her head. but finally, he asked her. it was amazing. so many good things were happening to blake and it made her so anxious, she loved it.
"of course, niall!" she exclaimed. blake hasn't been so loud or excited in her life before, she hasn't been so happy until now.
niall pulled her in a short hug once again before placing a small kiss on the side of her cheek, "good, i'll see you tomorrow around nine?"
blake nodded, her cheeks were bright pink from the kiss niall left her. she's never felt this way before, and she liked the feeling of it. this was probably the best day of her life, and this was probably going to be the most memorable moment in her life. when niall finally exited her room she whispered a small meaningful 'yes'. she was going on a date with niall tomorrow night. this was the feeling she's been longing to have for years, and here she is smiling so hard that her cheeks are hurting and burning at the same time.

when niall finally returned home he raced to his mother's room, when he opened the door his mum was still slouched on her bed listening to then TV that was on.
"mum!" niall exploded with excitement, "guess what?"
his mother stood up a bit and looked in his direction, she smiled and waited for niall to speak and tell her the news of why he was so joyful. "what is it, hun?"
"blake! i asked her out for tomorrow, she said yes! i'm so happy, mum." niall grinned, "this is probably one of the greatest days ever for-"
"niall, please slide me a bucket from the kitchen." his mother began to cough violently, "i'm feel sick.
niall hurried off into the kitchen, looking for the bucket his mum usually used when she wasn't feeling so well. it was nowhere to be found so he wondered off into the bathroom looking for it, he kept racing place to place around his house to find the bucket as he heard the violent coughs of his mother come louder and more forceful. he soon started to worry about her, he kept hoping she was alright.
it was soon enough that he found the bucket in the living room right beside the leather couch, he ran off to his mum's room to notice that she wasn't coughing anymore. and she wasn't moving at all.
"shit!" niall cried, "mum, you good?"
no response.
"mum?"
no response.
that was when niall noticed his mother was not responsive and quickly phoned an ambulance.
