The fear of talking in front of people
Why are schools always so evil?
Making the students quiet down
Never letting us make a sound
Hushing what we truly believe
And making us see what they want us to see
They tell us to be whatever we want
Then grind in us things that truly haunt
The one decision we were allowed to make
Making us regret it like it was a mistake
To choose what we should do with our life
Really, it shouldn't be their pain or strife
Choosing our path should be our freedom
Nobody else's, it's not their decision
