Chapter one -the move

Liza's POV ;

" Come on Elizabeth " my mom said . I walked out of the hotel room with my bag in my hand . I walked over to the car and through it in the truck and headed to the passenger seat . We had been driving from Houston all the way to Vernon Hills . My dad had gotten a plane their about two weeks ago so he can go ahead and set the house up. My mom told my dad that we would drive up their with the car so me and her could have some " mother and daughter " time together . They both knew I hated moving . I was leaving all my friends and my sisters Olivia and Rachel . They're lucky they get to stay in Houston because they go to college their . We moved because my dad got a job as the principal at Vernon Hills High School . They told me we were going to be moving . That was in April and now it's August 6th. After they told me we were moving and why my dad had already made me a new friend . My dad had talked to the governor of Vernon Hills and his daughter is named Gabrielle but she liked to be called Gabbie. She goes to Vernon hills high and we became friend . She's my first friend I will have at my new school . " So have you talked Gabbie ?" My mom asked as we pulled up to a red light " Yea before we got dressed this morning " I said while looking out the window . I noticed a Starbucks ." You want Starbucks ?" She asked and I nodded . When the light turned green we pulled into a parking spot ." Your usually ?" My mom asked " yes please " I said . She then got out the car and I stayed . She came back with her a iced coffee and me a Java Chip . It was my favorite because I loved coffee and chocolate. " thanks mommy " I say " your welcome sweetie " we then headed back on the road . The time was 8:45 am . I looked so. The gps on the car and saw that we would arrive in Vernon Hills in about 2 hours . So I decided to take a nap

I then woke up to my mom listening to music . She then turned and looked at me ."sorry did I wake you?" She asked " no " I say because I don't think she did . I didn't feel tired anymore . I sat up and check my phone . I had texted from friends back home . I scrolled to see that Gabbie texted me about 20 minutes ago .

Gabbie ; Hey Liza ,
Liza ; Hey Gabbie , wyd ?
Gabbie ; Nothing , woke up home alone once again .
Liza ; Lol , I'm still in the car .
Gabbie ; okay text me when you get to your new house .

After I had gotten that texted form Gabbie . I texted some of my other friends from Houston back . It had been about 5 minutes later when we see a sign outside of the car ." Elizabeth where here !" My mom says I then see the sign that says "Now entering Vernon Hills " I smiled and I turned to my mom to see her smile . We soon pasted all the places and building and then we pulled into a neighborhood . We drove by all the beautiful houses . Then we pulled up to ours . It was kinda big . Two story's with a 2 car garage . My mom then parked the car and we got out . I stuck my phone into my but pocket of my blue jean shorts and I walked up the drive way ." Their are half of my girls " I hear my dad say as he walked out of the garage door he then laughed . My mom and dad hugged and kissed and then I joined in the hug . " girls grab your bags and let me give you a tour" he say while patting my back . I then go to the trunk and grab my bag . The rest of my bags where already here . We then walked into the garage door and then into the room . " right here's the mud room " my dad says . " Liza yours is the middle one " he says . My mom and dad are honestly different . My dad likes my nick name Liza but my mom always calls me Elizabeth. We then entered the kitchen which had a island . It was one of my moms must haves . The living room was pretty big ." Liza your room is up stairs and two doors down on the right ." He says as he wraps his arm around my moms shoulder ." Okay " I say and I head up stairs . I walk to the door and opened it .

My room looked amazing . I walked in and saw a bay window . I've always wanted one . All my favorite colors where in here and pictures of me and my friends from back home . " do you like ?" I then hear . I turned around and I saw my parents . " yes" I say and I run up and hug them " thank you " I say " your welcome " my dad said . He told me how he had a decorated who had a teen daughter around my age so she knew how to do girls rooms . " Open that door " my mom says and I put a smirk on my face . I had a dresser for my sleep clothes . Would this be a walk in closet ?!" I opened the door to see my own bath room " oh my gosh !" I yell and I walk inside

The bath room was amazing . The same theme as my bedroom . I hugged and thanked my parents again ." And this is your walk in closet " my dad said . I didn't even see the door their . It was behind the door that you walk into the room with from the hall . " well honey unpack and all. We will be in the other room " My mom said and I nodded . I unpacked my closed . Hanging clothes up and folding up ones to put into my dresser drawers . I then took out my shoes . All 4 pairs of them . Not counting the ones on my feet . I knew I needed to go shoe shopping before school . I then put all my makeup in the bathroom with all my shower stuff and my face stuff . Basic girl things really . Then my mom walked in with folded blue and pink towels and washcloths . " thank you " I said and she nodded . I was all settled in. I had unpacked . I checked the time and it was around 12;55pm . My dad had called me downstairs for lunch. We simply ordered a pizza ." Also Liza your first day of school is in two day " " what's ?!" I said I'm shocked " it's all good . You will be able to go shopping with Gabbie " that was a relief. I needed clothes and shoes for school and I would be able to go with someone who knows Vernon Hills styles ."And also Gabbie and her family are coming over for dinner ." He then said . Later on that night they came over . This was my first time meeting her in real life . Yea we faced timed like 3 times but that was hardly nothing . When my parents treated them at the front door . I came in from down the hall " Liza !" Gabbie says when she sees me ." Gabbie !" I said back . We ran and hugged each other . " looks like your girls will be close " Her dad said and we laughed . We then ate lunch and talked about  the school . Then they left ." Bye Gab " I say and we hug bye " Bye Liza , see you tomorrow " she said . Oh yeah I remembered . I was going shopping with Gabbie tomorrow around 12. I then got into the shower , took off my makeup , Done my face routine, brushed my teeth and headed to bed . I laid in bed for a while testing Gabbie and my friends from back home . " WhooHooo !" I heard . I jumped up and looked out my bay window to see 3 boys riding their skate boards . " Guys did someone move in here ?" One of them asked . He was right under the street light . He had on a black hat and was y'all " I don't think so " one of the other boys said " I then saw the boy who was standing under the light looked into my window . I ducked down . I thought he had saw me . I peaked out still to were he couldn't see me . I saw him look confused and then smiled . " Come on D , before the night patrol sees us " one of the boys yelled . He then jumped back onto his skateboard and skated down the road . Who every D was I felt like I knew he saw me .
