Chapter three - First day

Liza POV ;

I woke up to my alarm . Letting me know that it was 7am . Honestly it's to early . At my old school back in Houston I didn't wake up till 7:50 . Because school started at 8:45 and I lived literally 5 minutes away from it .
But I have to learn that Vernon Hills is different . I woke up and headed to my closet . I decided to wear Black pants with holes in them . With a white tank top and a red plaid shirt wrapped around my waist . I put on my all white converses and then I did my basic makeup . After that I did my hair leaving it down and then I walked down stairs . My mom had cut me up some strawberries and I ate them with sugar . It was 7:30 so I headed up stairs to brush my teeth . When I got done I grabbed my bag and phone and walked down stairs . As I was coming down the stairs I hear my mom yell " Elizabeth, Gabbie is here " I didn't yell back because I was coming down the stairs . Like every year I take a picture in front of the house . This year my mom had a sign saying " First Day of 10th grade " I then closed the door behind me and put my book bag on my back " come on Gabbie !" I say while motioning her my way . She smiles and then jumps in the picture . We take some crazy ones and regular ones . " okay girls it's 7:45 , we have 15 minutes to get their . " We then walked to my moms car and got in . I sat in the back with Gabbie so she wouldn't be alone . When we got their I kissed my mom on the cheek good bye ." Have a good first day girls " she says and we wave good bye to her as she starts to pull off . This was my first time seeing Vernon Hills High . It was quite big . " Liza I forgot , I also want you to meet my friends today . " I turned to her " Umm. Sure " I say I was fine with just being friends with Gabbie . I had all my friends back home but I guess I could use some Vernon Hill friends . Me and Gabbie walk into the front office to get our schedules . We checked each other's ." Wow we have everything together but Science " she says . " dammit " I say . We then walk out of the office and to our lockers . " also your able to go to your lockers for 5 minutes in between classes so you don't have to rush " " thanks " I say . I went to my locker and tried to unlock it . Which I've always been bad at . " Gabbie !" I hear someone yell " Kristen ,Corinna!" Gabbie yells back . They run up to each other and hug . They gossiped for about 5 seconds then Gabbie turned around "Guys this is Liza , the girl I was telling you about " One of the girls with dirty blonde hair come up to me " Hi , I'm Kristen I feel like we will be close friends ." She says and she hugs me . All I do is smile " Sorry about her she's soo caring " the other girl says " I'm Corinna by the way , I hope we can be friend to " she says " Liza , and thanks I feel the same " we all then shared our classes . Me and Kristen had Science together and Had Math And Gym with Gabbie and I . The bell rung and then we headed to class . First class was Social Studies . The class looked small " Why is the class so small ?" I asked Gab " they have a lot of social studies teachers " she said . Their was about only about 13 of us in here . Plus to empty seats . " Hello class I'm Mrs Viper and I will be some of yalls social studies teach again in 2 years in a row . Lucky me " me and Gabbie giggled and she took role . " Mia Andrews , Ivan Bolt ,-" she was then cut off by the door opening loudly . Two boys walked in " Well well well " the teacher said " I have you two again " " yes you do , did you miss me " one of the boys said . I giggled and I felt like they looked at me . " just take your seat " she said and they did ." Well we know that David Dobrik and Scotty Sire is here " she continued to call role . " That boy with the red hair " Gabbie said as she pointed " that's Kristen's boyfriend " I nodded " good to know " " Koshy ?" The teacher said and I popped my head up . Some people turned around to me " E-" I cut her off " It's Liza Koshy " I said " well welcome to Vernon Hills Miss Houston " how did she know that about me . Everyone who had turned and looked at me turned back around . But one boy turned around and looked at me . He was the boy who came in with Scotty was it ? He was wearing all black . Was that the boy I saw that night through my window . The skate boarder that they called " D" . I felt like I needed to find out " Gabbie who's he?" I say as I point at the boy in all black  . He had already turned back around. " oh him ? That's David " D" for short ." She said " He goes with Georgia .T she is the most popular girl in school " Gabbie added . That class had went by quick and off it was to the next . It was soon lunch time . I had gotten in line with Gabbie because she wanted me to meet her friends . We walking to a table and stood . " hey Gabbie " one boy says and everyone else looked/ waved . " Guys this is Liza , Liza this is my friends " she pointed everyone out to me and told me their names " so your from Houston ?" a boy named Dom asked " Yea ," I said we all started to talk and all when I felt someone hover over me " Who's she " He asked " D chill she's cool " Erin said  . I turned around to see a boy , the boy in all black , the skater . I had so many nick names for him but they called him D . When he sat down by Todd he kept looking at me kinda suspiciously . Soon it was the end of the day . I knew to ride the bus home because my dad had to stay for something . I got on the bus and picked a seat and saved the spot beside me for Gabbie . I pulled out my phone and texted my mom letting her know I'm on the bus . " So what are you doing stalking me or something ?" Someone asked . I looked to my left to see David . " what are you talking about ?" I asked " I saw you looking at me through you window 2 nights ago " he says " What's up ?" He added " Yea I saw you but I'm not stalking you" he then laughed " it was kinda a joke " he said . " we didn't properly meet " he says " Hi I'm David, David Dobrik " he said . His eye were dark brown . And he had messy brown hair ." I'm Liza , Liza Koshy " I say back
