Chapter fortyfive - What Pageant ?

//// in this chapter we are going to be skipping to the month of March .And today's vlog was pretty funny . Ima start doing it to where if I post a video on the day he post a vlog . I will add it to a new chapter ////

Liza's POV ;
Today when I walked into class and sat beside Corinna " Hey where's Gabbie ?" I asked " She left out the class looking for you " she says as she takes a sip of her Starbucks drink . Soon the rest of the group walks in including Gabbie . We all sit down and start talking . After a while the announcement came on . Talking about the football team and lunch menu . " All right lady's this is the moment you have been waiting for " I hear my dad say "  Get ready for our Miss Vernon Hills Pageant !All girls in grades 10th-11th will be able to participate . 12th graders have their own Senior Pageant ! Each girl will need to be escorted by a young gentlemen.Sign up on the papers in the hall way and your be contacted soon!" I looked at the girls " Liza you gotta do it !" I hear Erin says " No I've never done anything like that " I say to the girls " Please Liza I've been waiting for this !" Gabbie says " ugh fine I'll do the stupid pageant " I tell them and they eat excited . The guys weren't paying us any attention so we didn't bother them . When the bell rung me and the girls went to find a paper to sign up for the Pageant . Their was one on the wall outside of the office . We each signed up .

David's POV ;
As we walked to our next class I saw the girls gather around the office . Not just or girls in the group ,but other girls to. " What are they doing ?" I asked " Probably signing up for something . " Toddy says . " Oh yea Carly told me they were signing up for Miss Vernon Hills " Alex says as he stops at the vending machine. " What the hell is that ?" I asked " It's a pageant for 10th and 11th grade girls . " Scott explains . I then look over their and I see Liza waiting against the wall for the girls . She wasn't signing up with Gabbie them so I didn't question it .

Liza's POV ;
( after school )
I had just gotten out of the shower and I got on my bed and started doing some homework . "Elizabeth time for dinner " I hear my mom say. I get up and head down stairs . Her and my dad were already sitting at the table . I sat in my spot " So Elizabeth any new at school ?" She says as she takes a bite of her food . " Um I signed up for Miss Vernon Hill " I say as I take a bite of my food "Homey that's good , your father was talking to me about it last night " she say . To me I'm girly but I don't do pageants . Like it's really not my scene but I'm going to try something new .

After dinner I went up to my room , put my homework into my book bag and I headed to sleep .

Gabbie's POV ;
The next day in class me and the girls got called out of gym to meet in the drama room . Like the audition thing the class wasn't in their . We sat down in the seats Liza and Erin sat beside me " Hello girls , today we are going to be talking about the pageant " Mrs Layton said . She works in town at the mayors office, well my dads office . People from the mayors office help with the pageants but manly women .

Liza's POV ;
The women told us her name was Mrs Layton . Her son Evan is in our grade and is kinda close with Dom and Alex . She then passes out papers for us to fill out . Like our full name ,birthday , what we like to do and a little about ourselves . After we filled the papers out we gave them back to her " Girls the Pageant is going to be next Friday . Which gives you enough time to get a dress . Girls will be getting pulled out of class to practice the dance for the pageant. And don't forget your escort " she says as we all start to leave to go back to gym . The girls were talking about their escorts " Zane's going to be mine " Gabbie says as she looks at her phone . They all said their boyfriends will be their escorts " Liza what about you ?" Gabbie asked " What about me ?" I asked back " Your escort girl ?" Kristen says . I could feel all the girls eyes on me " Um I'm not sure , David's not really the type for that" I say as I look up to them . They got silent as we walked back . It's true , he isn't the type for that kind of thing . And I don't want to make him do something. That
he doesn't want to do . I guess I'll find a close guy friend to be mine .
