Chapter seventeen - What happened ?

Liza's POV ;
It was the next day around 7:25. I woke up and got dressed for school . I put on some light jean pants with a Victoria Secret shirt and a PINK jacket over it . I done my basic makeup and then I done my hair . I grabbed some vans and put them on . I then grabbed my bag and headed for the door . I then walked to my bus stop and waited and soon the bus came . Gabbie was sitting with Scott so I sat in the seat beside theirs . Soon we were at David's stop and when he got on he sat with me . " Morning " He says " morning " I say back . On the bus in the morning it's usually quite. We soon arrived at school . We went to our first class which we all had together . Erin and Heath has saved us a table so we all could sit together . Then the announcements came on "Good morning Vernon Hills High " I hear my dad say over the loud speaker . He then started talking about what we were having for lunch and all ." When will we find out ?" Corinna asked " soon " Alex says ." Soccer team ! Our star players are David Dobrik, Zane Hijazi ,Scotty Sire , Heath Hussar,Alex Ernst , and Todd Smith!" We all jumped up and screamed . So did the rest of the class . I hugged David and I saw Gabbie Hug Zane . " Congrats !" I say to David . " Thanks Liza " he says back . " soccer practice will start tomorrow after school but during lunch go see Coach Flynn and tell him yalls numbers " My dad finishes saying . I was so happy that they all made the team . I decently knew Gabbie was happy for Zane . She never stops talking about him . It's like in the friend group we all have a crush on someone . But the only people who are official are Scotty and Kristen and Corinna dates a boy named Adam . Later on in the day right after lunch we had a free period . Me and Gabbie met up with Erin and Carly  ." Hey where is Kristen and Corinna ?" I asked looking around " Corinna wasn't at lunch " Erin added . We then see Kristen running towards us . " Guys we have a problem!" She says " what is it?" Gabbie asked " It's Corinna !" We followed Kristen down a hall into one of the rooms we are able to use during our free period . We saw some kids doing work . Then in the back all we saw was a blonde headed girl with her head down . I knew it was Corinna and I ran towards her "What's wrong ?" Carly asked . " Adam cheated on me !" Corinna says . Her face was red and her making was running . She has been crying badly . We all hugged her . Corinna is the type to really fall for a boy . And then it's like she ends up getting her heart broken . I felt really bad for her . But Corinna really needed us girls today . " I'll be right back " I say . I leave the class and I go to the front office . Their was a lady sitting at a desk and she looked up at me to see what I wanted . " I'm the principals daughter Liza Koshy , I need to se met dad " she nods and I head to the door . I walk in and he looks up ." Hello Liza , what's going on lunch has been over for 10 minutes now " he said I sit down in the chair . " Dad my friend Corinna is not doing good . She's crying and she's going through a lot right now . I was wondering if me and my friends could take her home and take care of her. Please dad I won't ask for anything like this again " he looked at me concerned . " Fine but only since you have 1 more class period left till the end of the day . " I give him a hug " thank you so much. " I wrote down all the girls names so he could make it so they had a reason to miss class then I left . I walked back into the class room ." Erin you have your car right ?" I asked and she nodded " what for?" She asked . Come on girls , we need to take care of Corinna . With no hesitation we helped Corinna up, grabbed are bags and headed for He school exit . We got into Erin's car . Erin and Carly was in the front while me and Gabbie sat behind them . And in the very back was Corinna and Kristen . When we arrived to Corinna's house we walked in and we could tell no one was home . We took her ups stairs and we let her get changed in her bathroom . The. Erin and Gabbie went to the store to get stuff for Corinna . When they got back they had a lot of ice cream and candy and drinks . We all gathered around Corinna and let her talk out the pain ."Adam was just a bitch who used girl " she yells . " I'm totally over him . " she says . She sounded drunk , because she was . Kristen let her drink while the girls were gone . Soon the guys started to call and we told them what happened . Around 4:45pm Erin drove Gabbie,Carly ,I home and Kristen stayed with Corinna . When I got home my mom and I just talked and I told her what happened to Corinna . Of course I left out the drunk part. It was  soon time for me to go to sleep . I had stayed up past midnight just so I could watch the videos the guys posted on YouTube . Then I looked and saw the hat of David's that I found last night . I forgot to give to him . Maybe he won't miss it .
