Chapter two-Shopping

Liza's POV ;
I woke up this morning around 10:30am so I decided to write in my diary . Every year I start a new grade I write about what happened the days leading up to tomorrow . My first day

August 7th

Today I'm going shopping with Gabbie for new school clothes . Which is good so she can help me know what's in style . Tomorrow's my first day and after me and her go school shopping my mom will meet us to go get school supplies. Last night before bed I heard screaming outside . And when I looked it was 3 boys on skate boards . One of their name was "D" well they called him "D" . He asked if someone moved into my house and his friends didn't know . Then he looked at my window and I think he saw me . I moved to where he couldn't see me . He looked shocked and confused but then he smiled and skated off down the road . I wonder who those boys are . But mainly who D is ?

I then get out of bed and headed to my closet . I put on some blue jean shorts and a white tank top . I did my hair and left it down then I done my makeup. After that I made my bed and sat down . " Elizabeth " I hear my mother say as she opens the door . " yes ?" I replied " I made some breakfast if you want any ." I then got up and headed down stairs because I love my moms breakfast. I smelt the delicious smell of my moms famous cinnamon rolls . I sat down at the counter and grabbed me one and began to eat . My mom handed me a glass of apple juice ." Thank you " "your welcome " she said . After I ate it I then headed up stairs and grabbed my phone . I had gotten a text from Gabbie saying. " I'm out front " I then grabbed my black vans and quickly put them on then I grabbed my purse and walked down stairs ." Your leaving ?" My mom asked " Yea , Gabbie's out front " I said as I check my phone to see the time . It was 11:45. " here Elizabeth " I then turned around and my mom was holding in her hands a credit card . " For me ?!" I asked and she nodded " Me and your expect you to use it wisely " she said in a strict voice . " but I will buy your school supplies , I have to buy something " she adds . I hug her " I'll call you later " she adds and I nodded as I walked out the front door . I then see Gabbie in her car and I get into the passenger side ." Hey Liza" she says " Hey Gabbie " I say as I buckle my seat belt . " is this your car ?" I asked because it looked so nice and expensive ." Hell no but I wish it was . It's my grandmas . She let me use it " " oh" I said and we soon left .

We arrived at the mall and went in . " So what's your style ?" I asked Gabbie " I don't really have one you?" " I just pick out something that I think is pretty ." I added and she agreed . We went into rue 21, Aeropostale , American Eagle, H&M and some other stores . Are kart stop was in American Eagle . I was looking at pants and shirts and all . I then found a cute camo shirt  " you like ?" I asked Gabbie while holding it up so she can see it . " Yes Girl ! Try it on " I Then went and got a lady who worked their to open a dressing room for me . " what's your name ?" She asked " Liza " I said and she wrote it on the door . I tried the shirt on and then Gabbie came to the door ." Lisa are you in their ?" Gabbie said laughing . I walked out and saw that she spelt it wrong . We both laughed " That is super cute , you need to get that " . Then Gabbie tried on some clothes . I picked her out a black and white shirt that I liked for her and she came out with it on ." How do I look ?" She asked as she spun in a circle. " beautiful, You have to get it" I say with a smile . " I will " she said and she closed the door behind her . We then left from and headed  to the car . My mom texted me saying " meet at Target in 15" she said and I texted back " okay "  Soon me and Gabbie arrived and walked in Target . I then saw my mom grabbing a shopping cart and we went up to her ." Hey girls " she said with a big smile " hey mom " " Hi Mrs Koshy " we said . We then headed to the school supplies . Me and Gabbie got a lot of cute ones . I got some notebooks that where my favorite color , some good pens and led pencils . When we got to the register Gabbie grabbed hers ." Gabbie I can by yours " my mom says " oh, it's okay Mrs Koshy I got it ." My mom then smiled and we paid . When I went to put my bags into the car I went to Gabbie's and grabbed my other bags . " Thanks Gabbie , I had fun " " your welcome " she said .We hugged goodbye . Then my moms car pulled up beside her car . " Gabbie have one of your parents drop you off at the house in the morning and I can take you with Elizabeth " " Okay I will see y'all later " Gabbie said as she closed the back seat door . I walked to the passengers side of the car and got in . We were driving down the road and I realized something " mom I didn't get a book bag ." I say " I had gotten you one today " she said " I have a feeling you will like it ." We both smiled . When I got home she helped me carry my stuff upstairs into my room . We sat them on the bed . Then I saw a bag beside my bed and I opened it .

It was the book bag I had always wanted . I loved the print and everything . I thanked my mom and then I put everything up . My clothes,shoes, I put all my notebooks and folders into my book bag . I put my pens and pencils into my little pencil pouch and put it up .

Soon it was dinner . I ate with my family , my dad was talking about how early he had to get up because he had to be at school earlier then me . My mom was talking about getting a little job or something.  After we ate I jumped into the shower and then down my night routine . I had then sat on my bed and texted Gabbie . I told her good night . She texted back that she will see me at 7:30. I then laid in bed and tried to fall asleep . I didn't know if I was nervous or happy for my first day .
