Chapter twentysix- county fair

Liza's POV ;
It was soon Friday and later on today I will be going to the County Fair with all of my friends . It's was around 12:30 so I decided to get ready for the day . I went to my closet and grabbed a outfit .
I picked out a long sleeve PINK shirt that was black and pink . I the grabbed some black pants and my black Vans . Wow I'm wearing a lot of black today . I then do my basic makeup and then my hair. I then hear my phone charm and I walked over and saw that Gabbie just texted me . When I opened it , its said " The County Fair @ 5:30" " okay I'll be their " I replied . I then headed down stairs and I saw my dad was dressed as if he was about to go somewhere. " Dad where you going ?" I asked as I sat on the sofa in the living room ." Mayor Hanna volunteered to help plan and organize a future school event . " he said " oh " I said as I grabbed the controller to change the channel . He then said bye to me and my mom and left . I was ready for the County Fair . I was ready to ride rides and have fun with everyone . But me I'm afraid of heights . I don't like them at all and only Gabbie knows that . " So what time do you want to leave the house ?" My mom asked while on her phone "
Around 5:10 or 5:15 " I say as I look at my phone . " we all are meeting their at 5:30 " I say " okay " She reply's .

David's POV ;
It was soon time for Scotty to come get me so we can go to the County Fair . I was really excited that I could spend time with Liza . I went into my room and changed. I put on a black shirt and pants then I put on my shoes . I walked into my bathroom and I looked at myself in the mirror . I brushed my teeth and then I put some deodorant on . I smelled myself . "I could do better " I said to myself . I then find some cologne and sprayed it . " thats better " I say as I then leave the bathroom . I heard a car honk outside . I grab my phone and jacket and I headed down stairs ." Bye mom I'll be home late don't stay up " I say running down the stairs " Bye David " she says and I walk out the front door . I see Scotty's car and I walk to the back door and I open and get in . " Hey D" Scott says as he drove down the rode " Wassup Man " I say . " D is Liza meeting us their ?" Zane asked and I nodded . " Guys do you think later on while we are their that you could give me and Liza some alone time ?" I say while rubbing my neck . " Oh shit David wants some alone time " Scott says and we all laughed and I could help but blush . " But yea man we got you ?" Zane says and I shake his hand . We soon arrived and we met up with everyone at the front " Hey where's Liza ?" I ask while looking around " She's almost here " Gabbie says with a smile .

Liza's POV :
I got their around 5:30 and at the front I see everyone waiting for me . My mom honks the horn a little and they all turned . I say bye to my mom and I walk over to them " Hey guys thanks for waiting on me " I say as I approached them " No problem Liza " Zane says . We all then walked in and I saw everything . It was like Six Flags . They had roller coasters and everything . I was looking around shocked and surprise " It looks like a theme park " I say " It used to be one " Gabbie says "Yea and now after thanksgiving is the only time it opens " Todd added " Yea but if you wanted to rent the whole party for like a event you could " Dom says . We then walk around and all the guys decided to do the bumper cars . Us girls waited on the sides and recorded them and posted it on Snapchat . Then as we walk around some more Gabbie nudged me " Look " she says . I look and see Georgia looking at us " Wow eww " I says and the girls laughed and we walked off .

David's POV ;
It was around 8 and it was dark and they had turned the lights on like the rides . So everything looked bright and pretty . I then walked over to Zane and Scott " It's time " I whisper into their ears and they nodded . " Guys me and Kristen are going to go walk around " Scotty said as he wrapped him arm around her . They then walked off and then everyone else started to depart "I'll see you later okay " Gabbie says to Liza and she nods . We then walk up to each other " Now it's just you and me " she sad with a smile " Just you and me" I reply . " Come one " She says as she holds her hand out to me and I grab it . We had gotten on one ride and we were sitting in our seats ready for it to start . It started to go high up into the air . I looked over to Liza and I saw she she was holding onto the handle car really tight . I hold my hand out to her and she grabbed it . When they ride dropped she screamed and then looked at me . We both laughed . When we got off that ride we both walked around to try and fine another ride . "Hey wanna go on the Farris Wheel ?" I asked , she looked up at it " Yea " she reply's . We then get in line and soon get on . It started to move and Liza looked out " Look how beautiful " shes says . As she said that I looked at Liza . She was looking so beautiful. I felt like I should tell her . Tell her the truth. I was just scared a little about what she'd say back . " Liza ?" I say " yes ?" She says as she's looking at me . My heart was beating fast . Like really fast . "Elizabeth, Will you be my girlfriend ?" I blurted out and I don't know why I called her Elizabeth . It kinda just felt right to call her by her real name . She looked at me . Her eyes all widened . About 5 seconds past by. I knew that she was going to say no . "Yes David !" She says as she grabs my face and we kiss . Our lips locking in . Then out of nowhere the ride stoped . We both jumped up . We where at the very top of the Farris Wheel and the ride stopped . I looked down and saw that no one was getting on. That the ride must of been stuck . " Hold On Guys " I hear someone yell from down below .

Liza's POV ;
David had just asked me to be his girlfriend and now we are stuck at the top of the Farris Wheel ! Me I'm scared of heights . I looks down and I saw Georgia looking up and waving at up. She must of done something . But how they hell would she know that I'm scared of heights .

David's POV ;
I turned to Liza and saw that she was breathing fast " Liza Liza " I says while grabbing her arm . She must of been having a panic attack or something . " D, I'm scared of heights "she says barley loud enough so I could hear her . I remembered something that my mom had said to me . That if someone is freaking out of having a panic attack to let them focus on something . Since she a nurse she would tell me and my siblings stuff like that . " Liza lean in " I say as I grab her . She laid her head on my chest " Listen to my heart beat " I say " keep your mind on it " . I could hear her breathing slow down which was good . It took them about 15 minutes to let us down . But for Liza it probably felt like an hour . When we got off she ran to the ground and she turned around then hugged me . " It's okay Liza " I say to her . She then calms down and everyone comes to check on her and to comfort her . Then me and Liza walked off holding hands . I wanted her to remember this day , not of her having a panic attack but of the day she became my girlfriend . I went to one of the games they had set up and I payed to play it . I ended up winning and I picked her out a cute little bear .

Liza's POV ;
David picked me out a cute little bear which I loved . I was so thankful that he calmed me down when we're stuck . Then Scott took me , David and Zane home . David walks me to my door step and . " Bye girlfriend " he says and we both smile " Bye boyfriend " I say . And as I went to the door to open it he quickly turned me around and we kissed . I could tell after that I was blushing and then I went inside .

David's POV ;
When I went back to the car and got in " My man !" Scotty says " She's my girlfriend now " I say and they both looked shocked " Congrats D" Scotty sad as we approach my house " I could tell that you really liked her " Zane said which was very true indeed.
