Chapter ten - who did it ?

Liza's POV ;
I woke up around 7:10 this morning and I was running a little late . The bus comes around 7:25 and I still had to do my morning routine. I got up and I went to my closet to pick out my outfit . I put on some light blue jean pants with a Victoria secret shit . I put on my black vans and I went into my bathroom . I done my basic makeup and then my hair . I kept it down and I put a crunchy on my wrist just Incase . I then walked out of the bathroom and on the back of my door I grabbed my white and black jacket and I put it on . I grabbed my phone and bag and headed down stairs . I checked the time and it was 7:21 . I walked out the front door and I locked the door and I walked to my stop . When the bus came Gabbie saved me the seat right by her for me. As I walked towards the back Scott waved at me and I waved back . " Hey Girl " She said as I sit down . " Hey " I reply . We both were on our phone while we went to the last couple of stops before we got to school ." Hey have you heard from David ?" Gabbie asked me and I shook my head " nope " I said " he hasn't replied to none of Dom or Alex's text and they asked me was he on the bus . Was then pasted his stop where he gets on at . He wasn't their . Maybe he over slept . Soon we arrived to school and I got some books out of my locker that I needed for class " Wassup " I hear someone say behind me . I turn around and see Todd and Alex . " have you hear from David ?" I asked Todd and he shook his head " I thought he rides your bus ?" " I know but he wasn't on this morning." I say " Yea and he hasn't replied to anyone's texts "Alex added " Still no one had heard from him . I last saw him last night Skating down the road . What if something happened . The bell rung and today I had art and everyone in the friend group except for Dom has it with us . We we walked into the class I looked at are usually table I sit at and I see a cup . I walk closer and it's a Starbucks cup with my name on it . It was a Java Chip , my favorite drink . Only Gabbie and David knew this " Gabbie did you get me this ?" I asked " how would I if I was on the bus with you " she says . That's true I would of saw it . Maybe it was David . I smiled and drunk the drank . Usually at my table in art was . David,Gabbie, Scott,Kristen,Corinna and I but David wasn't here . Soon the bell rung and it was off to Math . When we walked into class the teacher wasn't their and everyone sat down . Soon David walks in and comes towards us. " their you are !" Gabbie says " Dude where were you ?" Scott asked " I had to take care of something " he said " thank you David " I say and he smiled " your welcome "he says soon it was after school and today was the soccer team tryouts . I stayed after with the girls go watch the boys try out . All the boys were trying out but Dom " Hey Corinna where is Dom ?" I ask " Shit I don't know " Corinna says " Probably somewhere getting high " Carly says and we laugh . It was about 6:40 when the try outs ended and the boys walk over to us " We find out tomorrow morning " Heath says as he hugs Erin . I hugged David and we all start to walk towards the front of the school . " Liza " I hear someone say with sort of a deep voice . I turn around to see my dad walking over to all of us ." Hey " I say trying to keep it cool . I didn't want everyone to know that my dad is the principle . Only Gabbie knew and that was totally fine but I didn't even tell David . " Do you need a ride home ?" He asked and I nodded " I'll see you guys tomorrow okay ?" I says and they say okay back. We walk over to my dads car and I get into the passenger side . As we drove home he started to speak ." So your art teacher told me someone brought you something this morning " he says with a little side smirk . " yea someone brought me a Java Chip from Starbucks " I say looking out the window ." A Java Chip ?" He asked " that's your favorite thing , someone important must of got you that " he said . I knew he was trying to find out who but I wasn't going to tell him . " I honestly don't know " I say to my dad . I had my fingers crossed behind my back . " Well I only know people that are close to you know it " My dad said and we leave it at that . We stopped and got Taco Bell and ate when we got home . As I'm about to go up stairs my dad says " your mom will get here tomorrow morning " My dad say and I nodded " good night " we said to each other . I went up stairs and got ready for bed and as I laid down David called me . And I answer " Hello ?" He says " Hey" I say back " why did the principle ask to take you home ?" " That's a mystery " I say and he laughs . "Did you enjoy your java chip ?" He asked " yes thank you, you didn't have to get me one " I told him " but I wanted to " he says back . We then said good night to each other and I turned off my phone and went to sleep . I could tell right then that things between me and David . Maybe I might just have to be a rebel like how he said . Maybe their will be a new Liza . I can hide it from my parents and I won't get in trouble . I might have to make a plan . I then fell asleep thinking about David .
