The school's mood soon brightened with the coming of Quidditch season. Due to the fact that the first Quidditch match was on a Friday, the students were given a half day. Which meant that some houses had to combine for the day. So, both the first year Ravenclaws and Gryffindors were shoved into the charms classroom.

Reginald refused to sit next Snowbell because he didn't want her spells to backfire on him. Marina who chose to be a good friend decided to take a seat next to Bell. "Come on Reg it not like my wand so going to explode or anything." Bell grumbled to the boy who sat behind her.

"I am not trusting you." He said while opening up the designated page. "Especially since we are learning a fire spell today."

"Seriously?" Marina asked while leaning over to look at his book.

"You don't have to worry about me," Stickers sighed, "I can't even produce a spell anyway." The air between the three suddenly went cold. Which was interrupted by Professor Flitwick.

"Everyone listen up please!" the small man called and the talking ceased. "I'm sorry for the close quarters but we will have to make do. Today we will be learning a simple fire spell. In front of each of you should be a piece of wood. The spell is incendio and you move your wand in an upside down V shape." He demonstrated the motion with his wand. "On the count of three, I would like all of you to attempt the spell."

Everyone positioned their wands "1...2...3"

"Incendio!" the class shouted. There were several people who were successful, this included Reginald.

"Showoff." Marina mumbled before trying again and succeeding. Snowbell glanced at Marina's small flame and then back to her piece of wood which remained unlit.

"Incendio!" Bell chanted, but nothing happened.

"That's odd," Marina said confused, "You did the motion and said the spell right. I wonder why nothing happened." Bell sulked, she still hasn't been able to produce any spells

"I'm not sure..." she tried again but nothing happened.

-.-.-

At the end of class, everyone was dismissed except for Snowbell, Professor Flitwick held her back to talk.

"What do you think they're talking about in there?" Willow asked when she caught up with them.

"Probably how Stickers can't do magic for shit." Reginald stated bluntly.

"Reg!" Marina scolded, "She's trying her hardest."

"Not hard enough." He muttered. Marina smacked him on the arm. Just then the wooden doors open and Snowbell stormed out and slammed the door.

Marina winced, "Are you okay?" she asked.

"Fine." Bell said, her voice was low and angry. Willow and Reginald shared a look and raced after her.

"What happened?" Willow asked.

"He told me I need to get my act together and accept my wand already."

"He said that?"

"A nicer version of it... I'm just gonna go...see you guys at the game." She stormed off a frown etched on her face.

"Stickers looks like someone shit in her cheerios." Reginald sarcastically stated.

"Would you shut up?" Marina yelled at the same time Willow said, "You aren't helping the situation." Reggie put his hands up defensively.
