The first snowfall of the year came in the middle of class. History of magic was boring as always, and Snowbell could feel her eyes start to droop, every time she would nod off Roman would poke her to keep her awake. "Haven't we covered this subject already." She whispered to him.

"Twice," Roman whispered back. Snowbell groaned and laid her head down on the desk facing the window.

It was three days after the second petrification of that Hufflepuff boy that had almost been attacked by the snake during dueling club. Bell was starting to get uneasy about this whole situation. The rumor started to go around that Harry Potter was the Heir of Slytherin, and Snowbell didn't know what to believe anymore.

She had poked fun at Roman and told them that maybe he was the Heir of Slytherin and he promptly pushed her off her chair and caused her to get a bloody nose. Roman had immediately rushed her to the hospital wing when they had brought the kid in. Madam Pomfery had immediately stopped treating her and rushed to see what was the matter. Snowbell left the hospital wing with tissues stuffed up her nose and a story to tell.

Bell turned to roman and saw him diligently writing notes even though they had already covered the subject. She took out her quill and drew a hippo on his notes, and he proceeded to draw a party hat on it. They filled the margins on his paper with their nonsensical drawings. It was when she went to dip her quill in ink when she noticed it.

There was something falling outside. Snowbell stared hard at the window with wide eyes. "Bellbell?" Roman asked. Snowbell turned to him slowly.

"What are the chances of us sneaking out of class and not getting caught?" the Gryffindor demanded. He looked at her weirdly.

"Fairly high, but why?" He asked. She pointed outside and he looked out to see the snow falling heavily. She started packing her stuff and shouldered her bag quietly, Roman did the same. They slowly and quietly stood up, other students gave them looks. The pair crept to the door and pushed it open as silently as they could.

Once the door shut Snowbell started to giggle uncontrollably. "I can't believe we just did that."

"Are we rebels now?" Roman giggled.

"Definitely, now come on we need to go to the courtyard." She grabbed his hand and the two first years raced towards the courtyard.

Stitches Capitani had finished all his work in charms class and was currently making Reeve's ink bottle float. "Stitches, stop," Reeve said while writing answers down on his worksheet. He let the inkbottle float safely back to the desk.

"You're no fun." The Italian boy pouted. He turned and looked out the window. When had it started snowing? Stitches smiled softly, he had always loved snow. Snow brought hot chocolate and warm fires. He wondered how much the snow had piled up and looked down to the courtyard below. "What the heck?" he mumbled. There were two kids playing in the snow. Is that- "Snowflake?"

"What?" Reeve said and joined his friend at the window. "How did Snowbell and your step-brother get out of class?" Snowbell was laying in the snow, cheeks flushed and hair was covered in snowflakes. Roman was standing next to her with his eyes closed and head tilted towards the sky, and the duo were conversing softly.

"I have no idea." Stitches grunted.

At dinner Marina, Reginald, Willow, Snowbell, and Roman sat at the Ravenclaw table. Magnus, Bell's cat, sat in her lap and she absent-mindedly petted him. "Why is your cat different colors?" Reginald asked.
