Back at her home, Jiwoo couldn't figure out what it was she'd forgotten. She felt incomplete, like something wasn't right. Maybe she'd forgotten more than just the days events when she'd hit her head? But then again Taehyung's explanation had been loose to start with. She sighed, sitting down on the couch with Joker. She had nothing to do for at least a week. Doctors had limited Jiwoo strictly to her home. No school, no work, nothing strenuous. She looked at the clock, "I would be at the cafe with Somin right now.." Jiwoo murmured. Resting her head against the back back of the couch she muttered, "this sucks. I mean, I'm fine." She reaches for the remote to the tv and turned it on.

The news popped up, the anchor outside of He cafe Jiwoo worked at. "Cafe Luna is facing potential lawsuits after multiple women came forward admitting to being sexually harassed by the manager."

Jiwoo grinned, "good for them, finally admitting to what he did..." she paused, thinking about what could've happened to her if he hadn't been caught sooner.

"One of the alleged victims was even hurt to the point she received various head injuries and was sent to the hospital, her name is being concealed by the request of family." But after that Jiwoo wasn't listening anymore, her head was throbbing as she turned off the tv.

She reached for a blanket on the edge of the couch, pulling it over herself and rolling into a human burrito. "Joker~" she cooed as the cat army crawled across the couch to her. Smiling, Jiwoo lifted up the blanket allowing the cat to wiggle in and lay down beside her. "Sometimes I question if you're really a cat, cause you act like a dog." In response the cat purred rubbing the top of his head against her chin. After a few moments of silent bliss, she fell asleep.

After a few knocks on her door and a long silence Taehyung anxiously checked the windows. Jiwoo always answered the door when she was home and she was on house arrest so where else would she be? "Calm down," he murmured to himself as he returned to the door. Just as he reached for the door handle his phone began ringing. Taehyung frowned reaching for his back pocket, "who the-"
Incoming call from Mr. Kim
"-Oh..." he muttered answering the phone cautiously. "Yes?" Taehyung murmured, trying to disguise he disdain in his voice.

"Your first deposit is overdue. Is this going to become a habit?" Cold and unforgiving as always.

Taehyung looked back to Jiwoo's empty house. That's right, he'd spent his first paycheck on her. "About that...."

"Taehyung," his father sighed, "I don't want your excuses, I want results."

The boy clenched his fist as his side, "and if you would take five seconds to listen...."

Beep beep beep.

"Did he really-" Taehyung pulled the phone away from his ear. There was no one here. "Jack ass." He muttered turning back to the house before him again.

He tried the doorknob cautiously, but it wasn't locked and the door opened slowly. As usual the house was freezing, the thermostat read 63. "Jiwoo I swear..." he muttered scanning the living room for her or the little black and white cat that followed her like a shadow.

Mew~

His first clue. Taehyung followed the sound cautiously into a room in the back of the house. It was laid out like a bedroom, yet it was large and had a coffee table, tv and couch of its own. Like a hotel room, he thought. And there Jiwoo was, rolled up in a blanket with Joker, the tv off, not a single lamp on. "So conservative," he muttered as he reached down to pet Joker. The cat purred happily at the touch of Taehyung's warm hand. He felt her forehead cautiously, hoping not to wake Jiwoo. She didn't move, but her forehead was warm, significantly warmer than the rest of her skin. "You got yourself sick too?" He sighed shaking his head.

He knew then more then ever that she couldn't stay in this house alone. Not with her injury, her new illness, and it's awful conditions. He couldn't think of how she managed so long like this anyways. While he worked on getting those girls testimonies he would need to relocate Jiwoo, and hope she didn't find out he lied. So far he'd managed to keep her name out of the media with Ashton's help... but lord only knows how long that'd hold. He needed a more permanent solution; but he lacked the money to make it happen.

He looked down at Jiwoo still asleep, "if I can get a bit more...." because in his world, money solved everything. In hers, however, there wasn't anything that a bit of TLC couldn't overcome.
