His eyes were wide in shock, but were quickly closed in bliss. He cupped the back of her neck in his hand, deepening their kiss. He didn't realize until that moment how long he'd been craving her kiss. But he could feel her feverish cheeks against his and stopped, easing away from the pastel haired girl.

"What?" Jiwoo murmured as if she'd done something wrong.

Taehyung sat up and felt her forehead, "baby you're really sick."

Jiwoo raised an eyebrow, "'baby?'"

"It slipped out," he murmured rubbing his neck anxiously.

Jiwoo sighed nestling under the covers, and seeing her now Taehyung felt sick too. Sick that he'd lied to her back at the hospital. Sick that he couldn't do anything to make her all better. He couldn't erase what had happened to her, couldn't cleanse the areas that man had ruined. He felt sick that he didn't truly understand her, or her world.

"I'll get ahold of our family doctor..." Taehyung murmured even though he knew his dad would murder him when the doctor sent him the check.

Jiwoo sat up, "Taehyung stop."

"Stop what?" He asked out of confusion.

Jiwoo shook her head, "stop throwing money around. I get it, you have lots of money. I don't really care, you can't rely on your family your whole life. So let's deal with this like normal people and go to the drugstore."

He frowned, clenching his jaw. "You don't get it."

"Oh? Why not? Cause I'm poor? Broke? Not some stupid heiress? Is that why I don't get it? No I do. I get what it is to be reasonable." Jiwoo snapped back.

Taehyung rubbed his eyes aggressively. "Can we not do this right now? We were actually getting along."

Jiwoo sighed, "whatever."

He didn't want to leave her there, angry at him. He wanted to walk over and hold her by the shoulders and explain everything since the day they met. But he didn't. Instead he walked away.

"Hey So, can you pick me up?" Jiwoo murmured into the phone as she checked her surroundings once more.

Somin sighed, "yeah.. where are you?"

Jiwoo chuckled, "I'm not quite sure... I'll just share my location with you."

"Okie dokie. Hey I hope you don't mind, but Matt's tagging along." She added with a soft giggle.

Jiwoo shrugged, "you two are cute. I wish I had that."

Somin chuckled softly, "you will Jiwoo.... as soon as you let yourself loosen up some." There was a pause before her friend added, "by the way you've missed hella homework."

Jiwoo frowned twirling a strand of hair around her finger, "of course I did. Ugh I wish I hadn't but I've been being held captive by some hot headed rich guy."

"Woah, new guy is rich?!" Somin gushed. She paused then, "and he's into you??? Honey lock it down while you can!"

Jiwoo laughed, "he's not into me. We just had a moment. I don't even know why I kissed him, I think I'm delirious from being sick."

"If you asked me I would say you two have chemistry... but that's just me. We'll be right over so hang in there Jiwoo... and cut the poor guy some slack." Somin said finally leading to the girls saying goodbye.

Jiwoo hung up the phone and sent her friend her location. Cautiously she got up walking the perimeter of the room she'd been more or less confined to. It was a different room from the original one she'd woken up in. This was without a doubt Taehyung's room. All of the furniture was very modern, only in black or white. The walls of the room were dark grey and sun shined in through the window taking up a whole wall. The window opened up to a balcony overlooking the garden and pool... damn this kid is loaded, Jiwoo thought. It wasn't long until she heard a faint knock at the door. Jiwoo was expecting Taehyung, or maybe even Ms. Song.. but instead entered a young woman adorned from head to toe in designer wear and diamond jewelry. She was absolutely gorgeous with flowing reddish black hair.

Upon meeting her eyes the woman smiled, "you must be Jiwoo!" She walked up to the girl with her arms open. Jiwoo stood awkwardly as the woman embraced her, not sure what to do or say. "Don't be so nervous dear it's just me." And when Jiwoo didn't reply again the woman finally chuckled saying, "I'm Taehyung's mother dear."

Jiwoo smiled, "oh, I had no idea."

The woman smiled sitting on her son's bed. She patted the bed beside her urging the girl to come closer. Hesitantly Jiwoo walked over to the bed and sat down. She felt nauseous and dizzy but she pretended to be fine as she flashed the woman a pathetic smile.

"About my husband. I'm sorry about what he said. Men, am I right!? Anyways... I've talked to the two imbeciles downstairs and I would like to invite you to come back next week for dinner. I had told Taehyung to bring a nice girl and I think that could be you." The woman paused sighing, "look my son's in a rough place with the cut from family expenses and living on his own for once. He's used to being pampered and I'm just worried about him... just try being his princess because then he won't feel the need to buy a whole kingdom, he'll already be a king."

Before Jiwoo could think of a response she heard the sound of Somin's car in the driveway. "I uh- I have to go. I'll consider it... if he wants me to go... I will..." She murmured as she made for the door.
