The feeling of feeling everything,
The feeling of feeling nothing at all,
I question myself,
Blame myself,
When we kiss I feel it all,
The love, the passion, the intimacy,
Then,
When our lips part I feel nothing,
I feel empty, hollow, no longer myself,
You take a little piece of me,
Every time we part ways,
My heart aches to hear those words,
Like honey dripping from your lips,
I love you, whispered barely heard,
My arms ache to hold you forever,
Never to let go again,
My eyes ache to see you again,
Even when you have just left me,
This feeling is insane,
To be so damn empty,
Yet,
So damn full all at once,
To feel the beauty of real love,
Yet,
Knowing it will not last,
My mind races with thoughts,
My lips pursed to ask questions that will never leave my mouth,
Endlessly empty and endlessly full,
I'm my very own,
A walking, talking contradiction.
