I don't know how to put this into words,
So instead I'll write it here for the world to see,
This step forward terrifies me but I know,
You are there holding out your hands to catch me,
You are there taking this step with me for once,
I'm not alone on this journey I have someone,
Who will walk with me; eyes wide open and hearts full of love,
We are working towards our future together,
We are walking away from our pasts not looking back,
This is new to me but I know this feeling is real.
