I can't deal with heartbreak,
Yet your eyes still make my knees shake,
I swore not to let anyone in again,
Yet you walked right in just the same,
And here I am soul exposed,
Vulnerable as hell,
Knowing what's waiting on the other side,
Yet diving right in any how,
I close my eyes,
And wait to feel the earth,
Come crashing into me,
Enjoying the feeling of this temporary love,
Don't get me wrong,
I know it is real,
Nothing fake could ever compare,
To that feeling and desire behind your stare,
But it is temporary nonetheless,
So let me just enjoy this bliss.
