During the summer you usually got sick. Which only meant that when school came along you wouldn't have to worry about having anyone cover the class for you. But with a week left until the new school year you still had yet to become sick. After a trip to see family you started getting an extremely sore throats and a stuffed up nose. Usually you'd take care of it yourself with ease, being completely fine three or four days later. This time however, was different. Your boyfriend Severus asked if he could come over and though you didn't want him to worry or get sick himself you couldn't say no to his adorable pleads. Upon his arrival, he instantly knew you were sick and started to baby you.
He went to kitchen and made your favorite tea whilst you followed him around like a lost kitten. He ordered you to change into your favorite set of pajamas and to wait upstairs for him. Once he finally came in he had with him a tray of tea and different snacks that you loved but didn't eat often. Sitting down on your bed, Severus sat the tea on your bedside table and handed you a treat to snack on. You protested that he didn't need to take care of you but Serverus insisted, being his caring self. 'If my girls sick then I'm going to take care of her'. You couldn't help but chuckle at how extra sweet he was being. He turned on the tv, turning the channel to a cartoon show and got out some of the adult coloring book you had bought for the oncoming school year so you could deal with stress better.
As you began to color he went downstairs. When he came back nearly five minutes later, he had tons of medicine in his hand for you to take. 'Sev, I love you but I don't need THAT much'. He shook his head and said all of it's needed. The rest of the day was filled with an abundant amount of cuddles, forehead kisses and endless medicine. When dinner rolled around the two of you ordered pizza and you soon fell into a comfortable sleep feeling considerly better than when you woke up.
You woke up in the middle of the night only to find your loving boyfriend snoaring and looking both cute and annoying. You kissed his forehead and fell right back to sleep feeling lucky to have captured his attention years ago.
