Painful Scars [Jeongmo ft. Michaeng]

Chapter 8

Momo POV

"Momoriiing" a soft voice woke me up. My sleepy eyes slowly opened, and a luscious smell filled my nose. A feeling of serenity started rushing through me.

"Good morning" I said heading to the kitchen and rubbing my eyes. Jeongyeon was already cooking breakfast that smelled so incredibly delicious.

"Hurry up so we can eat breakfast together, don't you wanna taste this delicious kimbap?" Jeongyeon asked smiling, obviously knowing the answer.

A smile of contentment appeared on my face as soon as I saw her. I nodded happily and went to take a shower. While feeling the refreshing warm water on my skin, Jeongyeon came to my mind.

'She really is a caring person, despite getting described as a cold and lame one by Chaeyoung' I thought.

I looked at the waterdrops that landed in front of me. I took a deep breath and then finished showering. I wore my comfy clothes and went to the kitchen sitting next to Jeongyeon.

"Make sure to eat a lot Momo ya" Jeongyeon said and served me the kimbap.

"Thank you" I said taking a bite of my food.

Jeongyeon started eating as well. That's what I like about her. She adores food as much as I do, and she understands how it feels like eating in peace. Even though she understands me, we're surprisingly the complete opposite of each other. She completely turns into a cleaning maniac when I'm just a messy head. She is much braver than me, and she knows how to cook.

"Momo ya" Jeongyeon said while I was busy eating.

"Yes?"

"Do you want to try something fun today?" she asked and took a sip of her tea.

"Sure" I answered.

"So where do you want to go? Shall we call the others as well?" she asked softly.

"What about we do something all of us?" I asked and looked at Jeongyeon.

"Yeah, let's go on a trip together" she said and finished her food.

"All right" I answered and took the last bite.

"Here take an extra one" Jeongyeon literally started shoving another kimbap inside my mouth while holding my nape.

"Yahh, I'm-" I choked on the kimbap and Jeongyeon got panicked.

I kept coughing hard until Jeongyeon came with spilling water and unfortunately slipped and fell on the floor which made me laugh so hard that the kimbap got out.

"I'm sorry" Jeongyeon apologized and looked shameful at me.

"It's okay Jeongyeonnie, you were really funny" I said and then blushed at my own words when I realized I had just called her 'Jeongyeonnie'.

"Aigoo" Jeongyeon said and smiled that made me glance at her small heartwarming eye smiles.

"Let me help you with this" I said and started cleaning the wet floor.

"Thanks" Jeongyeon answered and cleaned up as well.

I felt a little bit awkward because of this situation, but I didn't want to make it more awkward.

When we finished cleaning, Jeongyeon told me to go and get ready for our trip.

"I'll call Chaeyoung and see what the plans are going to be" she said and took out her phone.

I went to the bedroom and dressed up. I took dark blue jeans on, and white shirt with an oversized black sweater on top of it since it was cold. I also prepared my scarf and jacket. Then I heard Jeongyeon calling me with excitement in her voice.
