"Ah, Cyllage City!" Rachel exclaimed, relaxing at the sight of civilization.

"What's up, Rach, my homegirl!" Jazz greeted while riding a skateboard to her.

"When did you get that?" Katie exclaimed, noticing the skateboard was red with a mouse pokemon pattern, "and what pokemon is on there?"
"It's a shiny Raichu pattern!" Jazz bragged. " I won a lottery at the bike shop and traded a bike for a rad skateboard! It's awesome!"

"Well, I'm going to the Pokemon Center and then I'm challenging the gym," Rachel told Jazz as the swaggy girl got on her skateboard again.

Jazz's eyes looking directly into Rachel's green ones as she spoke. "Good luck, Rach!" She then skated off towards the horizon.

"I will forget this ever happened," Katie muttered as she flew in the direction of the pokemon center.

"Katie, what did I say about flying!" Rachel scolded, running toward the fuzzy cat.

"I'm lazy!" Katie retorted.

Once Rachel got her team healed, she called everyone out for options.

"OK, guys, what are our options?" Rachel asked since she wanted everyone's opinions on this matter.

"Well, me and Bernie are no good. Since it's a rock type gym, Tammy's steel wing is good but using her is risky," Lily contributed, placing a paw down.

"I heard from some 'mon he uses fossil pokemon," Nina informed them. "One is an Amaura and I hear the other one has jaws that are thick enough to snap a Corsola!"

Rachel gave a shudder at that comment, what is it with predator Pokemon and Corsola?

"Are you alright, dearie?" Memma asked as she noticed Rachel cringing at Nina's comment.

"Maybe Mama and Mr. Hardy or Miss Memma!" Aura chimed in.

Katie growled in response, "Take this seriously, kid. And stop smiling!" But she kept her volume low to prevent motherly retribution.

"Did you say something, Katie?" Aurora asked.

"Uh, nothing!" she stuttered.

"Well, I'd volunteer for the Amaura, but it's too dangerous. Here's my suggestion..."

Everyone leaned in to hear the dinosaur pokemon.

"I'd suggest Nina and Hardy for the gym trainers. Memma knows Rock Smash - she was taught by Rockstar - for the Amaura, and Shelly fight against the tough pokemon since her shell is thick and tough. Memma should teach her Rock Smash!" Aurora advised as the team drank in her wisdom.

"Already learned that," Shelly remarked, flexing an arm, "So let's see what this gym is about!"
"Let's do it!" the gang cheered, hearts as one in this moment.

Small ears perked up, their owner tiny but deadly.

Oooh let's do the gym together! Wooo so peppy! Makes me sick to my gut, I can see why Lily picked them however, they sound a lot like them...

(Meanwhile at the gym)
Tiny slurped some soda pop as she saw Hardy and Nina wreck the gym trainer's teams.

"I am so glad you improved your Needle Arm," Rachel praised as Hardy whacked an Onix to the wall.

"Agreed," Hardy replied.

Katie ignored their conversation and flew to the top.

Everyone else took the stairs, elevator, or climbed. Rachel, Hardy, and Nina climbed so they could defeat the gym trainers for experience.
