Tyler POV"...And then instead of backing down she went and screamed Bitch loud enough for the teachers in the staff room to hear!" Penny finished telling the 3 gaping fish, that were Steven, Haden and I,how Beth got herself such a hefty punishment
We were all quiet for a moment, allowing this new bizarre information to settle in. Haden was the first to break our trance-like silence.
"Wow she actually swore?" His face was filled with amusement, an amusement that I wanted to punch right outPenny clearly was thinking the exact same thing. Only problem unlike me she doesn't really like controlling her fists. Before anyone could lost a toot I decided to speak up." After she got back, have you had a chance to talk to her?"
Penny's gaze drifted slowly from Haden towards me. "No, it's like she's avoiding me. She won't answer my calls or read my texts, as soon as she sees me coming she walks away. I don't know what to do anymore. She's even bunked more classes. Its like she just wants to stay away from me."
Penny slumped down against the wall. She looked so defeated. Steven sat down next to her and pulled into a tight hug. I could feel the worry oozing off of her. I knew how she felt because I felt the exact same way.
To not be around her was agonising. I missed her. I missed seeing her cute face that always turned red when I was around. The look in her big, deep brown eyes that used to be hidden by her glasses. I miss her frazzled expression when she realised I was watching her.
I miss her.
