"Charlie!!" The girl next to me yelled so loud you would swear she was part siren.
People was screaming and hugging eachieve other. I tried not to show the disgust on my face. Everyone acted like they never saw each for for years yet they most probably saw each yesterday
"Lizzy!!" I saw Penny rush towards me. She was so bubbly and I wondered why she wasted time with me.
She picked me up in a big bear hug.
We both walked arm in arm. She always made me smile and feel almost normal. I never understood why.
Why was she always with me?
Why did she make the effort to be my friend?
We were completely opposites. She had many friends and could hang out with any of them. But instead she chose me. It made me smile to think of it like that. She would just talk and talk and it made feel important. I liked it.
