As I though, Rosalinda and I didn't meet much the following days. Every time we met, we both were with our own friends, so we simply exchanged signs with our eyes. Luckily, if one can say so, we both passed our exams.
I didn't know what to tell her.
And I wasn't sure if meeting her before leaving was a good idea. I knew that meeting her would only increase the pain, so in the end I prepared to leave to LA without telling her anything. Yet, the day before my departure Rosalinda suddenly contacted me.
"Will you leave for LA soon?"
"Actually, tomorrow..."
"At what time?"
I reluctantly told her when. I thought it'd be for the best not to meet again, but after her messages I wanted to meet her.
The following day, my family gathered to see me off. Even my grandparents walked to the station regardless of the coldness. I felt I'd be crying soon, so I went through the ticket gate and parted from my family early.
I didn't see Rosalinda anywhere.
Worried that something happened to her, I sent her a message but she didn't reply. I reached the platform and waited the train alone. I wondered what I would be thinking about the next time I'd be on this platform. I tried to imagine it absentmindly.
"William!" I heard Rosalinda's voice coming from behind me.
I didn't know how she reached the train platform, but she was standing there with a big paper bag wearing a thin coat.
"Rosalinda..."
