The weekend has finally come! Tyler has been so excited all week to go shopping, he's even begged Josh if they could go a day earlier. Not only is he pleased to go shopping on the cost of Josh, he's more pleased that he gets to spend a whole day with him, and not having to leave him alone when he's marking books or making lessons for his class.

Tyler's pov:
"Ooh! Daddy, Daddy! I want to go there! And there and that store, too!" I tug on his hand and I jump up and down, pointing at all the stores I want to go to! "We can go where ever you want to, baby boy, under a few rules" I freeze. Rules? I thought today was meant to be a fun day! "You have to stay by Daddy's side at all times, remember your 'please' and 'thank you's. Lastly, you have to let me buy you things that I want to see you in" a devilish smirk arises on his face. "I guess those are some rules I can obey".

First stop, Build-A-Bear. This is our first time going out on a date as a ddlb couple. I'm nervous of what'll happen or if we get funny looks, but I'm too happy to be worrying right now! "Oh my gosh..." I mumble under my breath. There's so much choice! There's bears, bunnies, kitty's, everything! You can even dress them up, in Santa costumes, in jackets and shoes and dresses! "What one do you want, babe?" He leads me to the section where you choose your animal. "Uhm...That one! Wait, no..." I point at different animals then pulling back my arm. I look at Daddy anxiously making sure he isn't bored or impatient. "We have all day Kitten, don't worry! What about this liddle bunny wid' the coote ears?" he says in a voice as if he was talking to a baby or a dog, and honestly, it was adorable. I choose the light tan bunny with the floppy ears.

We're guided to the next step to add sound to the bunny! Josh sits down on the spinny chair in front of the computer screen, and I perch on his knee. I want him to say something, so I can listen to his voice when he's not around. He leans into the sticky outty microphone and says, "Daddy loves you, baby" and it's recorded. It plays again on the machine and my feet won't stay still, I find myself doing a little dance. His deep voice on the recording sends shivers down my whole body. "Yeah?" He looks to me for confirmation before pressing 'Buy'. "Yeah!" I clap my hands together excitedly.

We get the bunny stuffed and loved and dressed and named and finally 'adopted'! I decided on Lola, but it might change, who knows! Daddy runs out to the parking lot to put Lola in the car so we don't have to carry her all day. He leaves me briefly by the malls double doors, I pull my hoodie down even more because there's a bitter breeze wafting in every time the doors open. I chew impatiently on the cuffs of the sleeves. Shortly, he comes pacing back with a smile smeared on his face. "Where now?".

Josh's pov:
It's been a busy day! Needless to say, my arm is now sore and limp from the hours he's been dragging me from shop to shop. But I don't mind. Anything for my little one.

I look to my right, and my sweet angel is knocked out. Cold. His head is leaning on the window and his mouth is open ajar. Gently, I close his mouth which makes him stir and groan at me. "Sorry, darling" I rest my hand on his thigh. I focus back on the road before he notices I'm not. He's only just let me drive the car for long distances, he still doesn't like me sat behind the wheel. Every time we get in the car, he makes sure my belt is done, and the brakes work and what not.
