Eun Mi POV:
I begin to become aware of noise around me, cutting through the void. As I regain my consciousness bit by bit my senses start to function again. First came the sound, followed by the feeling of thin sheets against my skin, then the taste of saliva thick in my mouth and the smell of disinfectant assaulting my nose. Until finally I muster the strength to crack open my eyes. The fluorescent lights pain my eyes, unused to the brightness. Slowly I become used to it and can take in my surroundings. I am lying in a stark white room, the only splashes of colour provided by the blinking lights on monitors. Cords run from my forearms and my nose. Beeping machines record the steady beat of my heart and god knows what else. It takes me a full two minutes of groggy thought to realise that I'm in a hospital.

Suddenly the door clicks open and a Nurse enters. She makes her way over to check the monitors, paying no attention to me. In the time that she is in the room I am only acknowledged just as she leaves, and even then only to bluntly let me know that the doctor will be in in a minute. I had thought that nurses were meant to be caring, but apparently she hadn't got the memo.
Almost exactly a minute later (at least the nurse is accurate?) the door opens once again to reveal who I assumed was the doctor. He walks over and takes a seat by the bed before looking over to me and beginning to speak.

"How are you feeling?"

"Ok?" Somehow this comes out as a question. Even as I speak I can feel the weakness in my muscles, the slight tilt of the room and the dull pain in chest. He notices and asks the question again with only a word different.

"How are you really feeling?"

This time I am more honest with my answer, telling truthfully what ails me.
His questioning continues for the better part of an hour, all the while taking notes and fiddling with the machines around me. I am quizzed on how I feel from head to toe and about my health from up to a week before.
Finally finished with his interrogation he tells me the conclusions that he has come to.

"Okay, so you are suffering from the classic idol cocktail: malnourishment, dehydration and exhaustion. Though I have a suspicion there is something else as well that is contributing. However, I cannot identify what exactly that is. You should be fine to go home and resume normal activity in three days, but you need to be careful. Really the only thing that is worrying me is the chest pain."

He finishes up by telling me to ensure that I get a lot of rest and the other usual doctor stuff before leaving me alone in the room.

And not a moment to soon, I had been needing to go to the toilet since I woke. But out of misplaced politeness I had stayed seated. I get up too quickly and end up having to pause to let the room stop spinning before making my way to the bathroom.

It is only on my journey back that I notice a grey woollen coat lying folded on a chair in the corner of my room. Curious I pick it up, I hold it up by the shoulders and let it unfold. It is a long overcoat with two neat rows of buttons running down the breast. Judging by the size it belongs to a man, but not someone that I know, perhaps a previous patient left it behind? I look over the coat once more, noting the quality of the stitching and thick, warm fabric. It is an expensive coat. I will have to ask the nurses later to bring it to the lost and found.

Just as I fold it away to return it to the chair a slip of paper falls from within the coat. I reach down and retrieve it to find a handwritten note.

Ari, call to let us know that you are ok, we are all really worried about you.
~ Hobi-oppa <3

Hobi? I read through the unfamiliar rushed handwriting again, raking my brain in an attempt to recall anyone by the name of Hobi. Failing, I turn over the paper to see a phone number scrawled across the back.

After finding that my phone had not in fact accompanied me to the hospital, I get up to leave the room in search of a pay phone. Only to have my quest interrupted by a pair of visitors entering. Managers Yoonseok and Nayeong had arrived.

"Ari are you ok?!" Yoonseok rushed over and began fussing over me, guiding me back to the bed and forcing me to lay down. Seeing the situation Nayeong steps in to save me whilst explaining what they had heard. The change of subject providing respite from the other manager's concern.

"... then early this morning we were rung and told that you had been brought into the hospital unconscious. And that you were accompanied by Jung Jiwon."

"Jung Jiwon?" This was the second time this morning that an unfamiliar name had come to my attention.

"One of the stylists of BTS." Yoonseok fills me in, yet managing to only adding to my confusion.

Though perhaps she was linked to whomever Hobi was?  Explanations aside  Nayeong passed me a backpack filled with what I would need for my stay in hospital as well as, thankfully, my phone.

The managers start for awhile longer talking with me before heading back to the hotel. The visit has left me exhausted, and I was seriously considering following the doctor's advice and having a nap, but first there was something that I needed to do.
I pick up my phone and the note that I found in the coat, time to find out who this Hobi person is.

Author's note:
So I was going to originally include the phone conversation in this chapter, but then I was like "Nahhh, I'm gonna be a bitch." (Also I'm lazy) now you will just have to wait until the next chapter for it😈. Let me know what you think of the chapter though!

On another note~
