PE has never been so weird. We will learn how to fight, and since the knifes dont hurt humans, whoever gets the first stab in wins. So partners.

I look around for Kayano but she is already paired with a blonde girl. I look around some more and everyone is already paired with someone.

I stand there.

"Who doesn't have a partner." Kurasuma asks. Me and a guy with red hair raise our hands.

"OK Karma and Nagisa partner up." He says. Karma Akabane, he took up my role after I abandoned it.

I took the anti mead knife and got in a fighting stance, and so did he.

"Go!" Shouted karasuma.

Karma Pov

This is my chance.

I took the first move, and he dodged. He tried to attack. I dodged.

This went on for a while and we were the last ones fighting. Kurasuma had to end it for us because neither of us could get in a hit.

I shook Nagisas hand.

"That was fun, maybe we could hang out sometime." I said and his eyes widened.

"L-Like as friends?" He said some what exited.

"Well yea."

For the first time in two years he had a small sparkle in his eyes.

"Alright ill see you at lunch."

*time skip to lunch*

"Nagisa over here." I waved at him to come over.

He walked over to me and sat down with his lunch.

"Th-Thanks for inviting me to lunch." He said shyly, I could tell he hasn't talked to many people in a while.

"No problem."

A girl with greenish hair walked over to us.

"Hey Nagisa, mind if i sit." She asked looking at me and Nagisa

We nodded in a way to tell her that she can sit down with us.

"So what's your name." She asked me

"I'm Karma, and you." I asked

"I'm Kayano, its nice to meet you."

"Likewise." I said.

I realized i get a new start here, almost no one knows me here.

"Hey, wait isn't Sugino here!" Nagisa said exited. (almost completely forgot about sugino there, lol.

"Oh yea I noticed he was gone today." Kayano said. "Do you know him."

"Yea he's my friend, he has always been there for me." Nagisa said the sparkle in his eyes going away.

He started staring off into the distance.
