Lauren Strucker was new the mutant world. Amalie Gutierrez was born into it. Her parents were dangerous mutants that bred a killer child. That's how she got her name: Psycho. It described her powers well, for she could turn anything she possibly wanted into dust with the snap of her finger (yes, people included.) The girl, however, was the calm before the storm. Eerily quiet at all times, always making strangers uncomfortable with just the sight of her. She found herself in an abandoned building with members of the mutant underground who rescued her from sentinel services. She expects everyone there to be afraid of her because of the aura her powers give off. To her surprise, there is one girl who isn't. A blonde girl her age by the name Lauren Strucker.

Amalie's parents are super dangerous so they were killed on sight when trying to get to the nearest safe house, but Amalie got away due to Johnny and the others finding and helping her
She gets to the hideout not long after the Struckers are there and she tries to help them find Lorna and Reed. Her powers are hella badass and she can literally turn a skyscraper into dust in seconds, but if she were to destroy a building, she would destroy everyone inside as well so she tries to stray away from that as often as possible
Her and Lauren are fairly slow burn since Amalie is grieving over the death of her parents still, but Lauren tries to help her out with that.
