II. Beam's Wednesday

Medical Department

Before Beam could take another sigh, Kit slapped Beam's head downward. Kit couldn't take Beam's sorry state anymore.

"One more time and I'll be putting you out from your misery.", Kit complained.

"Kiiiiiit..." Beam whined, "Why am I like this?"

"Why can't I be nice to him?", he continued.

Kit only rolled his eyes at Beam, knowing that Beam is at his usual craziness. On the other hand, Pha is currently busy with his bae. Even though Wayo isn't with them, the kid can still distract the doctor who's fool-in-love. Kit could only pray to the God above to bless his two best friend.

It was their lunch break, so the trio opted out to eating at the cafeteria. It was not crowded in the Medical Department's cafeteria because of the fact that most medical students have extended noon hour classes.

Kit nodge Pha, telling him to buy food for them. Pha grumbled before getting up.

"Come on, Pha. It's your turn to get us food since  one of us here is useless." Kit said as he ordered Pha.

By the time Pha returned, Beam has busied himself with his phone, giving Kit a relief. Pha drop the tray the his holding unceremoniously in front of Beam, startling the man. Beam glared at Pha before returning to his phone.

Beam's POV

It's Wednesday, so there's no reason for me to go at the Engineering department today. Hazing stuffs are only for Tuesday and Thursday and without hazing, I was left regretting the things I've said from our latest argument.

I banged my head down in the table but at the same time, I don't want to hurt myself so I just did it lightly.

I cried at Kit once more but I ultimately got ignore...Aishh...this Kitty kat. Just because he's gotten himself a boyfriend doesn't mean he have to ignore his best friend, same goes to Pha.

I, Beam Baramee has been infatuated with Forth for a long time now. Who could blame me, he's cooler than Pha. Having known Pha since junior high has it's down, not anything about Pha are cool but when Forth appeared...BAM!! I was star strucked.

Forth is anything opposite of Pha. Another definition of handsomeness that's impossible for Pha to attain. Forth has this rugged look that's still clean to look at, especially when you thought he's some thug, he'd gave you his smile that is unexpectedly in character with him.

I fished out my phone from my pocket when I felt a vibration from it, it was an IG notification. I immediately open my account and look at his newly updated 'my day.

It's a picture of a hand holding a wrench with a bunch of tools in the background with the caption '3rd day'. It was Forth's hand, and I know what the 3rd day meant.

It's the 3rd day that they're gonna put a motorcycle piece-by-piece as their project. Forth is not the usual IG user who would post selfie, he would only post something if it's about a project or work.

I smiled seeing that he's working diligently. I've been stalking Forth ever since I have stumbled upon this account. So I created a dummy account so that Forth wouldn't notice that I'm crushing on him.

I was scrolling down Forth's profile when Pha startled me by dropping the tray in front of me. I glared at him but I quickly returned to what I'm originally doing. He's just being fussy because he can't text Nong Yo for about 10 minutes.

"Kiiit, Beam's stalking Forth again." Pha whined, being childish again.

I looked at him and showed him my tongue. You've done worst thing than me when you were still pinning after Wayo though.

"Let him be, Pha or you'll suffer his incessant asking why he's stupid." Kit sighed.

"Heyy!! Pha's worst than me." I defended.

Pha looked scandalized upon hearing it. Kit burst out laughing because it's true.

"Hey! I wasn't the one shouting that Forth's gonna win the Moon and Star contest three years ago though." Pha smirked at me.

Oh. So we dissing each other now? Bring it on Pha!

"Oh...who's the one who didn't recognize their crush? Was it me? Who's the one who had their mouth hanging  wide open upon seeing their crush? Kit, was that me?" I said while Kit was still laughing.

Pha rolled his eyes at us and distributed the plates among us. Giving up our dissing game.

Engineering Department

On the other hand, on the opposite side of the Medical Department. It was also noonbreak for the two Engineering students.

"Hey, Lam." Forth called, "How about I announce an emergency meeting?"

"For what, Forth?" Lam groaned.

"Well....you know....we've been running out of supplies..." Forth reasoned out but gave up after, "Okay! I've got nothing."

Lam groaned louder at Forth.

"Enlighten me, Forth why'd you have to call for an emergency meeting? Because your stupidity is working again."

Forth only gave Lam an innocent look.

Lam continued, "If it's about a certain medic then you really are stupid for making up excuses."

It's Forth's turn now to groan.

"Why don't you text him for some greeting." Lam asked.

"Have you not seen Dr. Beam? I'm sure he's gonna be spitting venom at me." Forth reasoned out.

"...and besides, I don't even have his phone number."

"Ask for it then." Lam added.

"I can't. Im sure he's just going to reject me" Forth whined, "I don't know why he's like this to me."

"Knowing you, you might have done something to the doctor for him to hate you." Lam laugh out.

"Face it, Forth. Not anyone can be please by you." Lam said, adding salt to the injury.

Forth slumped to his seat, totally giving up to the idea of an emergency meeting. Lam then laugh at Forth for being pathetic.

Then a loud notification ring was heard, making Forth pull out his phone. It was a notification on his IG account.

Someone reacted to the photo he posted a while ago.

I was actually listening to Jimins sweet voice while working on this.
