Flashback

"Forth! You should really put a stop to this fighting!!" Lam shouted as he tries to pull Forth away from the guy he's punching.

Forth is still persisting from beating the shit out of his opponent like he never heard anything. One by one, another student came to fight with Forth until Lam is forced to fight alongside him. He has no idea what reason Forth has to caused this brawl.

"Forth!! Stop! Someone is calling for the seniors!! And we should really run away from here!!" Lam urges.

And like a rampaging bull, Forth refused to stop. He would beat anyone in his way, receiving all the heavy punches aim to him. Anything just to get the adrenaline surging through his fist going. It makes him frustrated and unhappy fighting right now, and still he keeps doing it.

Fighting is the only way to keep control of his emotion. The feeling of broken bones and blood on his fist keeps him from truly spiraling. Anger is the only thing he is allowing to be expressed.

*THWAK!!*

Forth was caught off guard when someone grabbed him from his back and clipped him in the jaw causing him to topple down. Lam was supposed to be covering his back but someone managed to sneak behind him. He noticed that the fight is ceasing  but he still keep his head down, looking at the ground. Forth had already gotten the idea who knocked him.

"You fucking piece of shit." A low cold voice said.

There was no yelling, but the weight of anger is heavy in his tone. The men lying on the ground are being helped by the others who are still standing  and slowly being shoved away from the scene. Forth remained crouching, while a new group of students appeared before him.

"I warned you already, Jaturapoom." Singto in his clean white uniform said.

Forth blankly looked at the senior, noticing that despite the strong punch earlier, the senior doesn't look ruffled.

"You are still the head hazer but here you are acting like a first year that you hazed." Singto gave him a hard stare. "Fighting after ESO? Do you know how will that affect next year's SOTUS?"

Lam stood there, wide eyed that it was Singto's group who arrived. Of all the senior that could have come, it was the former hazer that hazed them. He didn't expect for the 5th years to be still in the school ground at this hour when all of them are busy with their Thesis.

"FUCKING ANSWER ME, JATURAPOOM!" Singto barked when Forth clenched his mouth close.

"P' Singto, can we do this tomorrow? Forth needs medical assistance." Lam pleads.

Singto glared at him, "He has the guts to come here and start a fight but he can't face his senior? Is that what you call the Head Hazer of the Engineering Department? Because what I see right now is so pathetic to be even called a hazer."

Forth snorted at the insult, it was nothing compared to what the medical student has inflicted to him. The blooming pain from his ribs is bearable but once the distraction stops, it's a whole different pain he is suffering. He should have seen it earlier, the moment he felt he was on top of the world, he should have guess that it would be downhill.

"I'll take all responsibility." Forth mumbled.

Singto pursed his lips and kissed his teeth, clearly showing his dissatisfaction.

"Leave Lam out of this!" Forth weakly continues, "I made my own mess and I'll take care of them myself."

"You know that you will be making a mess here and still you do it?" Singto sigh in defeat, "Sometimes you really make me question my decision of giving you the Head hazer's responsibility. Never send a boy to do a man's job"

Forth gritted his jaw at that jab.

"I hope you realize that even if you did say you would take all the responsibility, it will not be just you who will be cleaning this mess."

Singto signed his group to slowly leave the scene. He gave Forth one last glare before he turned his back to him.

"Report to the Dean's Office the second you arrive tomorrow  morning."

"P!!?" Lam was shocked that P' Singto mentioned the Dean's Office.

"I'll see what I can do to minimize this mess." The senior said while walking away.

Back to Forth's Apartment

"He was expelled."

Beam just looked at Lam for a whole minute, waiting for the joke to happen. When Lam stayed sullen, Beam comprehended that he was really serious. It felt like something just knock the air out of him at the realization that Forth might not return.

"Um...ah.." Beam stumbled while making a lost face, "E...expelled?"

"He got in trouble with the other department a week ago and..." Lam didn't continue it anymore, knowing that Beam understood what he meant.

Beam exhaled shakily as he brush his hair and leaving his fingers in his scalp to grip it hard.

"Why...why would Forth...be in trouble? I mean he's...umm...he's not ..." Beam staggered.

"I'm sorry, Beam. If you are looking for Forth, he's probably on his way to the train station right now."

"Why?"

"His parents called him to come home."

Beam stood up straight, suddenly having the idea that surely will have it's consequence later. He grabbed Lam's shoulder, looking at him with determination. Lam was taken aback by Beam sudden strange behavior.

"What's Forth address?" He shook Lam.

"I...uh...I'll send it to you later when I ask him."

"Ask him now!! And send it to me asap!!" Beam yelled as he ran towards the stairs, dashing to his car.

Train Station Platform Area

Forth put his luggage besides his seat as he look up at the announcement board above. 30 minutes before the train arrive. He heave a sigh, thinking about his conversation with his mother yesterday.

'Come home if you don't have anything to do in the meantime.' His mother said to him.

He doesn't want it to be this way why he had to come home. His mother had not shown her disappointment in her tone during their call but he knows he had let his parents down. He really regrets all of his action, if he had not lost his reasoning, he wouldn't be in this situation and he might have given Beam the journal personally.

He kept his sight at the ground, resting his elbow on his knee while hunching down on his seat. He stayed like that until a pair of white sneakers appeared in front of him. He looked up to find who approached him.

"Beam?"

"Forth."
