Beam's Dorm (Beam's POV)

It was 9 o'clock when I looked at the clock on the wall just above my bed. I was so focus with my notes that I didn't notice that I've been studying for an hour. No wonder I've been aching for a stretch for a while now.

It's not like I really need to study my notes but I hate cramming when examinations are nearing. Besides, as a field medic I don't have time to study when I'm busy getting there and here. This is my only way to catch up with my studies when someone could ask for an emergency any time.

I put down the notes I got from Phana to stretch the kinks out of my muscles. Without intending it to, my vision starts to stray to the cigarette pack on my table besides my bed. I smiled thinking what happened earlier.

'Forth was charming and... clumsy' I giggled, thinking how he scared the waitress serving us while denying something I didn't catched up.

My thought was broken when I heard the sound of a car being parked on the parking area. I went to the balcony to peek who's car just arrived. I checked if it's Kit coming back from his so called 'date night'.

It was Ming who got out from the car first, jogging around to get to the passenger side of the car and opening the door for Kit. Kit got out from the car and was immediately engulfed by Ming's arm. Kit wrapped his arms around Ming's neck and leaned his back to the car. Ming supported his boyfriend's weight by bringing his arms on Kit's waist. They took a second just looking at each other's eye before Ming started to say something to Kit that made him smile.

I couldn't hear what they are talking about so I quickly returned inside my room because it felt like I was intruding such intimate moment. I know that Kit easily get shy and has the tendency to avoid showing his loving side to Ming and often resorting to physically hurting the younger man in able mask his shyness. So I have no plan to steal Ming his chance to see this side of Kit.

I smiled knowing that my best friend had a great date night and have a boyfriend who's willing to put up with all of his mood swings.

While waiting for Kit, I didn't realize that my mind has wandered back to what happened earlier before I got back to my dorm. I groaned thinking how stupid I was to agree to the fool. I buried my face to my pillow to cover the sound of shame I'm currently making.

"Why are you shouting like a dying seal?"

I shot up from where I'm currently hunched with my pillow on my face when I heard a voice. It was Kit and I haven't even heard him opening the door to my room due to my dilemma. He was standing just beside my bed, a few inches away from my embarrassing self.

"So why are you shouting on your pillow?" He tried asking me again, arching his brow at me.

I groaned not wanting to explain what happened earlier but he was wearing this 'try-me-bitch face' which makes everyone surrender into talking. So in able for me not get on his bad side, I shared to him what happened earlier.

Flashback of what happened earlier

The two of us were in the middle of finishing our noodles when my phone got a notification that I received a text notification. I looked at my phone to know who sent me a message. It was a text message from Lam.

"Who texted you?"

The sudden question suprised me so I took a glance at the owner of the voice and raised my eyebrow at him. His face was hilarious, obviously curious at who texted me. He looked like a petulant child who got disturbed in the middle of something.
