VI. Cutie Ride

"FUCK!!"

Beam shouts in exasperation as he stomped his foot on the ground of the now vacant parking lot. He shouldn't have left his car back in the dorm and demanded Kit a ride on his car. How should he know that Kit would abandon him, his best friend since forever FOR A GUY? What happened to bros before hoes?

He swear that once he gets back to his dorm, all hell will break loose. He would never let Kit get away from choosing his boyfriend. Who would thought that his super 'tsundere'bestfriend would willingly be whisked by the brat into a date! Like they don't see each other everyday!

Beam's thought about devising a plan on how to kill Kit (and Ming) was suddenly interrupted by a deep voice asking him, "Was that Kit?"

Beam turned his head towards the voice, forgetting that he was still with Forth. His heartbeat stuttered for a second upon hearing Forth's baritone voice laced with concern.

"Do you need a ride?", Forth asked again.

Beam's poor heart instantly stopped upon the idea of riding with Forth on his bike. Beam's face was schooled into his usual bitch face but his shocked was evident on his voice when he stuttered replying to Forth.

"N..no! Who would want to ride with you?!"

"Wow! I think half of the school would literally dropped dead just to ride with me." Forth answered with a shit eating grin.

Beam scoffed while scolding his betraying heart, "Are you always this confident, Khun Forth? Last time I check, you're always saying that you got lucky being next to Pha."

"No... but only I'm with you I am confident." Forth chuckled softly.

Well, there goes Beam's heart. Totally dead.

"U..ughhhh!! Stopped!!!" Beam yelled as he fan his reddening face, "I'm not riding with you okay! How did you even know I don't have a ride?"

"Beam, you're not exactly the most silent person about your thoughts. You were muttering on how you would like to murder Kit and Ming earlier." Forth said with an eyebrow arching up.

Beam quickly slapped his mouth, afraid that he might have said more.

"I'm...Im still not riding with you!!" Beam yelled.

With that, Beam quickly turns his back to Forth and heads to the nearest exit. Beam is still having a hard time on willing his heart to stay still. If he accepted Forth's offer, he would die from an untimely death by cardiac arrest.

But the fates prove otherwise that they are not on his side today when a rumble of a motorcycle engine was suddenly on his side.

"Hey! Are you just gonna walk?" Forth asked as he rode his bike beside the walking Beam.

Beam ignored Forth as he willed himself to look ahead.

"You're gonna tire your pretty little feet if you are just going walk." Forth tried again but Beam just keep walking ahead

When he still got no reaction from Beam, Forth tried another approach, "Don't worry, I don't eat cute boys" he teased.

Beam stopped on his tracks as he glared at the larger man. Forth also stopped his bike and let his foot rest on the ground.

"Are you blind?" Beam asked as he puffed out his cheeks, "I'm not cute! How many times do I have to say that to you?"

"Until you let me take you back to your dorm." Forth grinned.

Beam only rolled his eyes and proceeds to walk ahead in able to get away from the annoyingly handsome guy who refuse to give up.

"You know, you're cute when you're mad and pouty."

Beam quicken his pace in hopes to save his failing heart.

"Well, why do I have to point that out when you're basically cute everyday."

By now, Beam's face are void of his usual creamy white skin in exchange of a cherry red blush.

"You're actually making this hard for me but I'm gonna forgive you because you're cute." Forth tried again.

Beam stopped for the second time unable to take the warm feeling on his cheeks.

"OKAY!! Stop!!" Beam glared at Forth's now hopeful face, "You can take me home now, okay?"

Sometimes you have to know what fight to give up or your heart is going to suffer. That's why, Beam is going to risk riding with Forth than letting his poor heart be tortured by the hazing leader.

"Yes!!" Forth made a fist pump as he waits for Beam to sit behind him.

"I'm gonna sue you if I'm not going to get back to my dorm in one piece." Beam heatedly warned as he climbed up behind Forth.

"Why would I want to hurt a cute guy like you?" Forth gasped, taking off his helmet.

"Here, wear this." Forth faced Beam as he hands him his helmet .

"Why?" Beam asked dumbly.

"I only have one helmet with me right now and I have to make sure you're going to be safe." Forth replied.

Worried that Forth wouldn't have a helmet to wear, Beam asked Forth, "Then how about you?"

"Worried now?" Forth teased, "Don't worry about that, I'm a safe driver."

Beam puffed his cheeks again, trying to put on the helmet. Forth saw him struggling, so he helped Beam hooked the helmet's strap underneath Beam's chin.

Beam froze when he felt Forth's fingertips lightly touching his jaw. He looked up towards the hazer's face and realize how close he is to the man's face.

"Is this a cute guy thing?" Forth suddenly asked, causing Beam to look down.

"What?!" Beam asked.

"The 'hard-to-get' thingy?" Forth supplied.

Beam gasped at the question and immediately gave Forth's shoulder a beating. Forth only laugh at Beam's shock face and immediately starts his bike incase Beam decides to walk instead.

"Why are we stopping here?" Beam asked as Forth parked his bike outside a noodle shop.

"To eat, of course." Forth stated as a matter of fact.

"I though that you're going to take me back to my dorm?" Beam questioned.

"I will....well...after this." Forth said as he hopped off from his bike.

I'm sorry everyone, I've been a slob in writing an update. I was busy as fuck this past few weeks and I can't seem to find words to write this chapter. And I've been watching A Korean Odyssey and JiKook/Kookmin Vids, so I was also lazing around.

Now I know how hard it is to write an update so I'll be careful from now on to demand an update to an author. Again, I'm going to try hard updating this fic bimonthly.
