Noodle Shop

"I will...well...after this." Forth said as he hopped off from his bike.

Forth entered the shop without checking if the medic leader is following him. Leaving the smaller man conflicted if he should follow Forth inside. Beam is weighing the idea of ditching Forth and call for an uber or he could just stay and suffer, but Beam is anything but rude, he wouldn't just leave Forth inside waiting for him.

With that, Beam furrowed his eyebrows together, trying to unbuckle the helmet's strap under his chin. After taking the helmet off, he hissed a sigh of relief, feeling the air breeze through his scalp. He tucked the helmet under his arm and entered the shop.

Inside the shop, there's a lot of people eating but not that many to fill all tables that are available. He scanned the occupied tables, searching for the hazing leader that left him. Beam found him a second later besides the store front window, reading a menu.

Knowing that he wont be escaping Forth so soon, he took his time approaching Forth's table. Forth was still busy scheming the menu when Beam plopped down across Forth. The taller man tore his eyes from the menu towards Beam's scowling face. This made him grin and put down the menu infront of Beam.

"Here, you choose what you want to eat."

"Why can't you just take me back to my dorm?" Beam scowled as he pick the menu to block the the sight of the grinning man across him.

"A little stop over wont hurt anybody." Forth answered cheekily.

"...but an hour with you could do damage to my heart..." Beam mumbled out of Forth's hearing range.

After a minute of choosing on what to eat and deciding for a spicy noodle with peanut oil, Beam put down the menu only to find Forth staring at him. With a hint of pink tinge on Beam's cheeks, Beam tilted his head to the side as a form of silent question to Forth's blatant staring.

"Wha..What?" Forth asked, mentally breaking apart from Beam's puppy head tilt.

Hearing that Forth stuttered, Beam arched his perfectly trimmed eyebrow and tilted his head to his other side as he answers Forth, "You're staring."

Flustered that Beam caught him, Forth tried denying the claim, "I...Im not! Im trying to read the menu upside down."

"As if my face is the menu." Beam scoffed.

"Aish!! Just order something already." Forth complain, trying to divert the topic.

Beam perked up immediately and pointed his choice in the menu to Forth, effectively forgetting Forth's earlier action.

"Oh, I want Spicy noodles with extra peanut oil...and ice coffee, no sugar or cream."

"You drink your coffee dark?" Forth asked, intrigued by the smaller man's beverage choice.

"hmm..." Beam hummed in confirmation, returning his attention to the menu in case he have something to add.

"I didn't pegged you for a dark coffee drinker." Forth added.

"Oh...then what do you pegged me as?" Beam paused, slowly directing his eyes to the man questioning him. Genuinely curious to what the man think of him.
