Getting Chances (Chandler Riggs Fanfic)

Chapter 7

When we got back to Indiana, it was about 8pm. We unpacked all the boxes back at my dads warehouse, which that took about an hour, so I really didn't get back home until 9.

I stayed up, laying in my bed, looking at all the pictures on my phone from the weekend. Pictures if me with cos-play people, Norman, Steve, arts, and of course, Chandler. I put my phone face down on my nightstand and think of Chandler. The way he laughed, the way he looked at me, his voice, and the conversations we had.

I looked at the clock- 10:34pm. I really need to go to bed. School tomorrow, back to my normal boring life for two weeks. Atleast I can tell Maya and Danny about my amazing weekend.

I wake up about 6am, then hit the snooze until 6:30. I grunt and roll over off if my bed and turn on my radio. I decide not to dress all fancy, and pick out my amethyst skinny jeans, silver sparkly sperries, and my navy blue American eagle sweatshirt. Get to the bathroom, take a shower, then get dressed in the clothes I had picked out. Go downstairs, get some cereal, sit down at the table, while my dad rushes around to grab his things.

"Bye hon" he kissed the top of my head as I ate a bite of cinnamon toast crunch.

"Be safe, don't ditch school, talk to friends, maybe do some school work, if anyone offers candy from a strange vehicle, take it and run." We both laughed.

"Bye daddy love you!"

"Love you too Pay!" He blew me a kiss before closing the door behind him. I put my bowl in the sink when I was done. I went to my bathroom, dried my hair, straightened, put some mascara on, and brushed my teeth. Ugh, stupid braces. I can't wait until I get them off in a month. I wonder what Chandler will think of them when I-- I haven't texted Chandler at all!!! I run for my charging phone and start to text him.

To Chandler: hey Chan! Hope you have a great day!

From Chandler: I hope you have a wonderful day too PayPay! I think I'm going to break things off with Rachel today...

To Chandler: let me know how that goes, okay? /:

From Chandler: will do /:

I really didn't want to stop texting him, but my bus was almost here, and if I'm texting him, Danny and Maya will be asking a billion questions- who ya textin? Is it your lover? Your secret admirer? Who Payson? - the questions will go on forever until I give in and tell them. It stops at the corner right next to my house and I step on and head straight to the seat with Maya, Jake and Danny behind us.

"How was your weekend?! Did you meet Chandler and Norman?! Were they as gorgeous and amazing as they seem?!" Danny asked popping her head up from the seat.

"Yes I did! Norman smelled amazing and Chandlers lips were soft." I said quickly hoping they wouldn't catch it. But Maya's mouth dropped the second I said it.

"YOU KISSED HIM?!"

"Shhh-shh-shh" I laughed looking around to see if anyone heard. "No! But he kissed me on the cheek. I got a picture, I will show you if you promise not to scream and make the bus driver think there's a murderer on here!" I laughed at them and pulled out my phone.

"Deal. Now show us the picture already!!"

I got it up, but the first one I showed them is the one that his dad took.

"Payson! Show us the OTHER picture."

I slid to the next picture and watched their eyes get wide. I chuckled.

"Tell us everything!" They said almost simultaneously.

So, I did. Everything except for the Rachel thing.

"He gave you his number!?" I nod.

"I can't give it out though, I love you guys, but I promised him and swore I wouldn't! Can't break a promise to a celebrity." I shrugged.

"Or a hot guy that it is soo totally into you." Danny said under her breath, but I still heard and I laughed.

The bus pulled into the school parking lot, little old High School. Now, just to continue my normal boring day, thinking about Chandler, and not class work.
