Chapter 17

We went to the park first, since it's in the neighborhood, and it was really nice. There's a playground for kids, benches, a nice amount of trees, and even a pool, which is pretty great, even though my new house has it's own pool in the back. I've never had my own pool...
Anyways, we then went to walk around the school, since it's a saturday, it's not open. But it's huge from the outside, much bigger than my old school, so now I'm kinda nervous. But Walmart, was very interesting.

Sam went to the girls section, on a dare from Cassie and got the biggest bra he could find, and was walking around with it on, an the looks we were getting were just the best. Chandler got dared by Sam to walk up to one of the workers and say he lost his parents, the lady was young and very confused because we looked old enough to know how to look for our parents, but being an actor, he had it down to a T, And if I didn't know any better, I'd say he was genuinely scared that they left him here. Cassie got dared to ask this guy, who was pretty good looking, for his number and if her outfit looked good. Of course, with Cassie being an outgoing and gorgeous girl, she easily got his number, and got a good compliment from him. It was my turn and now I'm scared... I hope they go easy on me with this dare..

"Payson... Hmmmm Payson..." Sam starts, and I can't help but chuckle because he still has that stupid DD cup bra around his chest.

Dear god pleeeeaaase don't let it be bad!
"I dare you... To act like your British and pregnant." Sam laughed.
"Pregnant?!" I laughed.
"Yeah! Just trick someone into thinkin your 15 and pregnant!" Cassie Sam and me are cracking up, Chandler is just smiling.
"Ummm, can we just go with British?" I asked and I can tell Sam is thinking about it.
"Fine. But, you have to throw a fit because they don't have the correct pop-tarts you want." They both laughed again, and I nodded. They all went to the isle across from the one i'd be in.

How am I even supposed to start this out? I guess with a British accent.

"Oh my.... Oh my lord are you kidding me? You have got to be kidding me!" I slowly began to raise my voice while looking at the poptarts, and I can hear faint chuckles coming from the isle.

Continuing in my best British accent, I made an even bigger scene to where a worker came up and tried to help me. Then I said something about how they didn't have my favorite flavor, strawberry mustard, and complained about how they had them back home in England. I admit, if I weren't practicing to be an actress, I would've burst out laughing just like I could Hear Sam, Cassie, and Chandler from the other isle. I walked up to them after the lady left out of frustration, and I burst out laughing.
"Did you see her face?!" I laughed.
"Payson that was just great!!" Sams face was red from laughter, and it made me laugh harder to see that stupid bra on him.
"Pay, why aren't you acting as a career?" Cassie asked me, and Chandler nodded in agreement.
"I'm workin on it! I'm taking acting classes, and looking for an agent, so I don't know. I actually need to find a new place here." I said and shrugged.
"I could maybe help you? You know, find an agent and help you get a role?" Chandler offered.
"No no no, don't do that, I want to be able to land a gig on my own, without the great Chandler Riggs." We both laughed, and he nodded like he understood.
For a moment, I forgot that I was in Georgia, like I've been here for a long time, not just 5 hours. The thought instantly saddens me, and I think about Danny, Maya, and Jake. I miss them a lot. Although, it's not that bad here I guess. I mean, Cassie and Sam are great, they're so fun, and of course there's Chandler here, so I think I could get used to things here.
"Do you guys wanna go back to my house and watch a movie?" Sam asked.
"Yeah sure! What movie?" Cassie asked. I'm not sure if I should, I don't know how my dad is holding up at the house on his own.
"Uhhhhm... What do you guys want to watch? We can just get a movie from red box while we are here." Sam shrugged and left it up to us.
"I should probably ask my dad, see how he's doing at the house on his own. I'm gonna go call him." I say and walk just a little away from them to call my dad, and he picks up on the fourth ring.

"Hey pay! How ya doing, where are you, and when are you gonna be home?" He asks, jokingly, but I know he wants to know.
"I'm good, we're all good. Right now we are at Walmart, the one that's right outside the neighborhood. They all actually want to go back to Sams house to watch a movie, I just wanted to make sure you were okay with that?" I ask, unsure if what his answer would be.
"Yeah that's perfectly fine. It's 7 though so is say try and be in the house before 12."
"Okay, thanks daddy! Love you!"
I said to him before I hung up. I walked back to Cass, Sam, and chan.
"Hey my dad said yep!"
"Great!! Okay, so they can't decide on a movie. I think a scary movie would be fun, right?" Cassie asked me.
"Uhh, yeah! I definitely agree! Unless these two wanted to watch something else..." I waited for a reply but just got shrugs.
"So a scary movie... The conjuring?" I ask them, Cassie's face lights up.
"Yeah! That sounds good!" Chandler laughed and Sam smiled.
"Okay. Well I'm not buying the movie, and since it looks like I'm the only one here with a credit card, I guess I'm getting it from red box?" Cassie laughed at us and we just nodded. As soon as she got it, Sam took off the bra and threw it into a random isle, causing us all to laugh.
"My chest feels so.... so empty." He blurted which made us laugh again. We walked back to Sam's house, and into the living room. It was about 9 until we actually started the movie, since we were mostly just goofing off. Me and Chandler were talking in the living room and just laughing, having a fun time while Sam and Cassie were making popcorn.

"I'm telling you, you can't possibly know what's going to happen next on the show, it's not like the comics, Pay." He was smiling tremendously, leaning against the arm on the other side of the couch we were on.
"Haha! Okay Mr.'im an actor on the show and I know everything that no one else except the crew know and I won't even tell my friends'. " I said, and laughed after words. He flew his hands up as if to say 'how is that fair?!' I leaned over and punched his arm.

"I'm kidding, calm down Chan!" We both laughed, and he shook his head and rolled his eyes at me, which made me laugh more. Cassie came back into the living room as put the movie in.

"Where's Sam's parents?" I asked her.
"They're upstairs probably either asleep, or talking." She shrugged.
Sam came in and have us some popcorn, turned the lights off and we started the movie.
I have to admit, it was pretty creepy. The couch me and Chandler were sitting on, was a love couch so it's not very big, and somehow, I ended up leaning against him, with my knees up to my body and his arm around my shoulder. It wasn't in anyway uncomfortable, for me or him. I was actually really comfortable with the way we were sitting, besides the fact that Cassie and Sam could see us from the other couches. I don't care though, I actually like this closeness I feel towards Chan. A scary part in the movie made me jump, and Chandlers arm squeezed my shoulder in the most adorable way, like he was trying to keep me safe. My head was rested against his chest, and when Sam and Cassie weren't looking, Chandler leaned down and kissed the top of my head. Now I won't be able to pay attention to the movie.
At this point in time, I'm really re-thinking the promise I made to myself to take things one step at a time with him. Because right now, I can see us being a couple, and I love the idea. Even though I don't know how Chandler feels about it. Towards the end of the movie, Cassie was asleep. How that girl manages to fall asleep during a scary movie amazes me and I chuckle a bit to myself. Sam got up to go to the bathroom. I put my hand on Chandlers chest to push myself up, but he didn't let go. Instead, he caught my gaze, and we sat there for a moment, just looking into each other's eyes. I feel the elephants running wild in my stomach now at the thought of what might happen in this moment. My thoughts were answered when Can leans in, planting his soft lips to mine, and sending an instant spark through me.
