The next day was of course, open floor day here at the comic con, boring, tiring, annoying..., but then again, fun, because ;
1- chandler is here
2- peoples costumes
And 3- it's a comic con, it's always fun.
I guess I shouldn't complain about going to these. A lot of people never get the chance, which I find just awful. I think people should be able to go to atleast 1 con in their lifetime... Maybe 20.. Idk. If I were normal, I think I'd have fun here... But I'm not normal, because my dad drags me to one almost every other weekend so then again, you could see how it'd get boring sometimes.
The weekend flew by pretty quickly, and soon enough, I was on my way home-- with my dad. I wanted to ride with Chandler's family again but, I didn't want t make anyone suspicious. If my dad found out we were dating, he wouldn't let me and him hang out as much as we do... And I don't even know about his parents. They might react the same way? Chandler says they wouldn't, but then again, he said they wouldn't care about Grayson knocking over that vase last week, and he ended up grounded... It was a funny story actually, we were playing football in the house while his parents went on a date and-- well you get the idea of what happened next. We were babysitting Gray, even though the 11 year old insisted he didn't need a babysitter, look what happened to that vase... Okay so maybe it was our fault for wanting to play football inside, but we won't go into that.
"Payson, we are home!!" My dad cheered. This is the first time we've come back to this house from a con and he seems pretty excited to call it 'home.'
"Yep!" I pulled my phone out.
"Dad, Cassie texted, can I go over there for a little?" I asked.
"Yeah sure."
"What time do you want me home?"
"Hhmmm.... Before 11? You have school tomorrow, I don't want you up too late." He smiled and headed inside.
It's funny how he cares more about my grades than I do. I laughed at the thought and went across the yard, to Cassie's door.
"Cassie's upstairs." Liv answered the door, then walked away when she saw it was me. I smiled and shook my head.
I got into Cassie's room to find her looking at her phone on the edge if her bed.
"Look at this." She gestured to her phone. I looked at the screen to see it was my Instagram page. Ohh....
"How do you have more followers than me?!" She laughed. I just shrugged.
"Celebrity's girlfriend." I laughed.
"I keep forgetting that he's famous. I mean he's not Justin Bieber famous but still." She shrugged.
"Eww please do not compare him to JB." I made a grossed out face.
"You don't like Justin?!" She shrieked.
"Nooo.... I like his music, not him."
"They're the same thing." She pouted.
"No they're not! Ed Sheeran's music sound like a mix between Jesus and fergie, but you have to admit, he's no Harry styles with the looks Cass. Him and his music are not the same."
"How did we just go from comparing JB and Chandler to Ed Sheeran and Harry styles?" She laughed.
"I don't know." She was laughing so hard that I started to laugh. We both calmed down.
"Agree to disagree." I said.
"Fine. Whatever." She fake pouted again.
I pulled my phone out to take a picture, and Cassie was still on her phone.
She made a frown face so I mimicked her.
"That's goin on Instagram." I laughed and her mouth dropped.
"What?! No!!" She tried to grab my phone but I got up too quickly. I ran out her bedroom door before she could get to me. She chased me down the stairs, thoroughbthe living room and kitchen before she slipped, giving me a head start. I ran back up the stairs and hid in the hallway closet, and posted the picture, captioning it
"agreeing to disagree. 😜 @cassiemoo18".
I hear Cassie run back into her room. I get out of the closet and head back to the room only to see her tearing up on her bed.
"Oh my gosh, it was only a picture! I'll take it down if it bugs you that bad" I chuckled.
"It's not that. Sam..." She trailed off.
"Oh my god is he-"
"No. He's not hurt... But I am."
"What happened?" I asked her.
"He just texted me and asked me how to get Brooke to like him." Cassie mumbled, luckily, because I do the same thing, I was able to understand her.
"Oh." I say and go sit beside her on the bed.
"I didn't realize how much I like him until he asked me that..." She said.
"You could always give him bad advice? You know, tell him to.. Give her shaving cream?" I say trying to lighten the mood.
"No, I can't do that. That'd be awful, and I want him to be happy, I can't sabotage him." She laughed but then got quiet again.
"But what if he'd be happier with you? And you with him?" I ask.
"He's my bestfriend. We've known eachother since pre-k. I didn't expect myself to like him... It just happened, and I don't want to ruin the friendship we have by telling him." She says and I slowly realize, that's the situation I was in with Jake.
I miss him, not in a boyfriend way, but in "I need my old bestfriends" kind of way.
I wonder what they're doing right now? Probably having fun without me... Danny has probably had a bunch of modeling gigs.. I wouldn't be surprised if she made it big before I do for acting... Crap! I still need to find acting classes!
"I'm sorry Cass. I know how it feels." I simply say.
"How? You and Chandler weren't best friends for 9 years." She sighed.
"No, not Chandler. My best friend Jake back in Indiana. I used to have the biggest crush on him a couple years ago."
What a lie, more like a couple months ago.
"I had to get over it, between him dating other people." I shrug.
"Yeah look how well that tuned out for you two." She said.
"It worked out extremely well. We are still best friends, and I'm with Chandler and I couldn't ask for anything better."
Me and Cassie talked for the rest of the night, until I had to go home. Yay. I have school tomorrow. *bleeeeggh*
I hope it goes well. I really need to focus on my grades, not Chandler this week.
