Then they find out how to take it back
They cut it, twist it, shape it to their desires
They use it to drive me to insanity
Their actions make me question their humanity
Can't they see that we need breaks?
Nice, long, clean ones that last a while
They take our "whiles"
and their whiles last so long
But at the same time,
A while is something I don't have
I wish I could spend it freely,
but they keep taking it away
Time is something I can't take back
Time is something that won't last
Time is something I don't have
