Andrew starts to wake up and feels an instant headache. He groans bringing his hand up to his head. He feels something on his arm and opens his eyes to see a needle stuck in him. He looks around his room and sees nobody in it with him. A woman walks past his room and he tries to speak, but it comes out raspy. She turns her head and sees he's awake. "Hello, how are you feeling?" She asks and he looks at her confused.

"Who are you?" He asks after clearing his throat. He then sees Addison walk into the room.

"Hey sleepy head, get these done for me." She says handing the women a clipboard.

"Who is she? I know everyone in our pack." He says and Addison smiles.

"A lot's happened in the past eight days you've been asleep. Our pack merged with the Thunder Pack, we are now the Midnight Thunder Pack. Creative right?" She asks with a smile.

"How? But why?" He asks confused.

"There home was completely destroyed and we needed help rebuilding. They also helped us in the fight, they stood by us." She says and he nods his head.

"Who's Alpha and Beta now?" He asks and she smiles.

"There Beta died saving Ty's mate which is their Luna and man, she's quiet, but can fight like any man." She says and Andrew laughs. He stops and winces as he feels pain in his head.

"Can I see Nicole?" He asks and Addison looks at him. She sighs but nods her head.

"She's still asleep and isn't looking...normal, but we think she's going to be fine."

"You think?" He asks worried and quickly gets to his feet. She should have been better than him, he made sure to keep her on top of him so she stayed warm. He sways and Addison puts his good arm around over her shoulders and her arm around his side to stable him.

"Her cut got infected really ba-"

"She wasn't cut." He says and Addison looks over at him as they walk slowly down to her room.

"She has a cut from the middle of her hand and almost three quarters up to her elbow." She says and he furs his eyebrows.

"She said she pinched her hand." He says and shakes his head. "I should have known, I mean I should have noticed it." He says and Addison opens the door for him to walk in. He looks over at her and almost drops to the floor. Her skin is almost white, he sees more tubes then he ever thought they had stuck into her, she's got a breathing tube down her throat, her right arm is bandaged like it's been broken, and he sees her left hand is discolored.

Addison lets him walk up to her by himself. "Will...will she break if I touch her?" He asks looking at her.

"No, she's not going to break," Addison says leaning against the back of the wall. Andrew gently puts his hand to her cheek. She's warm which relieves him because she looks almost dead. He could feel her while he was asleep and didn't think she could be this hurt. He thought she was already walking around and playing with Maddie and Maggie. He leans down and kisses her forehead. He turns back to Addison.

"I can't do this again. I can't wait here waiting for her to wake up." He says as tears slowly trickle down his face.

"I'm sorry Andrew, but that's all we can do." She says in a soft voice and he finds a chair to slide into.

"What-what's wrong with her hand?" He asks and Addison frowns.

"It was in the water for a long time and has severe damage. I don't know if she's going to be able to move it when she wakes."

"Her hands were against my chest. They shouldn't have been in the water. She shouldn't be hurting." He says and Addison walks over to him.

"She saved your life, she'd put both of her hands under your head and neck to keep you out of the water. Her left hand was the one in the water the most, that's why it's damaged. It wasn't your fault either, so don't even go there." She warns knowing that's what he's going to think. They sit in silence and Addison gets to her feet needing to check on other patients. "Skin to skin contact is going to help her heal faster. You're her mate, you know what can help her." She says and then leaves the room. Andrew looks back up at Nicole and gets to his shaky feet.
