Chapter Twentyone

"No way." Nicole says enthusiastically to Maddie. She was able to get her partner to the ground and keep her there.

"Yeah, it was awesome." She says and Nicole puts up her right hand. Maddie gives her a high five. "Can you grab anything yet?" She asks looking at Nicole's left hand.

"Almost, jus' sometimes my fingers can't tighten." She says with a small smile. Maddie nods her head before Amanda comes running in and tags her.

"So not fair." She yells before running off. Nicole laughs and continues on her way to the kitchen. She grabs herself a plastic cup and puts it in her left hand. She puts it under the skin and lets it fill up. Once it's half way she stops the water. She smiles to herself but then jumps from Andrew popping up behind her. She drops the cup and it splashes out of the sink, onto the counters and onto her shirt.

"I was gettin' that, thanks." She grumbles turning around in his arms. He smiles and pecks her on the lips.

"I know, I was watching." He says and she glares at him. "So, any shakes so far?" He asks and she shakes her head.

"No problems today, but it's only ten am." She says and he shrugs.

"That's better than yesterday." He says and she nods.

"Yesterday was a bad day." She says and he nods his head.

"Yeah, but today's going to be good. I can feel it." He says and she laughs.

"Really? Ya git feelin's now?" She asks and he nods.

"I get all sorts of feelings." He whispers next to her ear. She gasps at him and pushes him away. He laughs and watches her face get red. 

"I can't believe ya sometime's." She says with a shake of her head.

"Andrew, can you come here?" Max asks from the doorway. Andrew looks over at him and nods his head.

"ti amo." He says and pecks her on the lips.

"I love you too." She says and he smiles.

"I'll see you tonight, don't forget." He says walking backward towards Max.

"I won't, go before Max pulls ya by thuh ear." She says and he looks to Max. Max just smiles and Andrew mouths 'Help me.' She shakes her head and he gasps.

"Wow, thanks." He says with a smile. She rolls her eyes and he turns out of the room. "So, what's up?" He asks and Max just shakes his head.

"Just...listen." He says opening a door and pushing him inside. He quickly shuts it behind him and stands in front of the door. Andrew looks at him confused but turns his head smelling her scent. Avery's standing on the other side of the room.

"Don't yell, just listen to me-"

"What as you try to tell me Nicole is a murder and I should stay away from her. No thanks, I'm good." He says turning around, but Max blocks his way.

"Just listen to what she has to say." He says and Andrew slowly turns back.

"You need to get more hunters checking the perimeter, starting tonight and for the rest of this week." She says and he looks at her confused.

"What? Why?" He asks glancing at Max, but he just nods to Avery.

"I can't tell you, I have a feeling. You need to just trust me on this." She says and Andrew laughs.

"Trust your feeling. Your feeling is what made you try to tear me away from Nicole. I don't trust your feeling." He says bitterly.

"I can't tell you the reason or it will be for nothing, but you need to alright. Just please or something bad is going to happen and I've been trying my hardest to make sure it doesn't happen." She says and he looks at her confused.
