chapter 1:learning

"Yawn"
I opened my eyes with a long yawn and stretch.
My eyes slowly adjusting to the morning light and my ears to the sound of our clan waking up.
My dad was already awake and was busy cleaning up some thing

Iv always looked up to my perents
My dad being so strong and fast
Also because of his awesome silver fur!
My mom because she is the kindest and happyist person I know
Shes also very good with a bow,she promised to teach me one day

I jumped out of bed and smiled at my dad
"Morning dad!" I said happily,my tail wagging back and forth
He looked down at me and grinned
"Look whos finally awake" his grin turning into a smile as he pick me up and put me on his shoulder
I giggled
"Hay dad,wheres mom?"
"Oh shes out scouting again,she should be back soon"
My mom job as a scout is so cool,her and some others go out and explore our world
I wish I could go with,but mom says im too young...
Thats why I cant wait to grow up!then I can do what the adults do!
"So,what do you want for breakfast,porridge or bread?" My dad asked taking out both
"I want some bread today,mom always makes it taste so nice!"
Dad laughed
"Yes,she sure does" he said take the loaf and cutting it
He then put some cheese on it and then onto a plate befor putting me down and patting me on my head
"There,now eat up,your going to have busy day today"
I barked in agreement and quickly munched my bread

When I finished dad told me to go visit my teacher,master frost
Hes awesome
He tought all the pups from since we where young how to take care of our selfs and today we will learn how to fight!
So we're going to one of the farms outside the walls of our clan!
Its so exciting because iv never been outside them
Mom says its dangerous but beautiful

After saying bye to my dad I ran off towards master frosts school
Every step I took I felt even more excited
Today's going to be great!

Most of the pups where already there when I got there
They where all talking to eachother about what we are going to do today
I went and sat next to my friend nix.
Shes from a poor family and is generally quiet,but I managed to talk with her.
And when you get to know her you will find thats shes a very nice person,
But shy too

"Morning students" my ears shot up when I suddenly heard master Frost's voice
He walked in and stood infront of us all
We all stood up and waited for him to speak
He grinned
"Good to see that all of you made it to class today,im sure that you all heard from your parents that today we will be learning the basics of combat" he said
We all noded
"Good,some of you heard that we will be leaving the wall,so I need you to pick a partner who you must stay with for today"
As he said that I grabbed nix's paw and smiled
Nix smiled slightly

Everyone got there partner and we began to leave
