chapter 3: the fall part 2

We ran around in the field s giggling and laughing until master frost called us back
"Okay class,this is very important so I need you all to listen"
He gestured his hand to his left
A large table sat there,all types of weapons lay on it,well all wooden types
"On the table here is some practice weapons,you will pick one now and the weapon you pick will be what you learn today" he said
We all noded
He began to call our names one by one to the table to let us choose,and eventually my name was call
I walked forward,excited as ever
"Okay Andrew,its time to choose" master frost said with a smile
I nodded and looked at everything in front of me
But one set cought my attention,a sword and shield
I smiled and took them
"Ah a wise choice andrew,both a good defence and offence"
"Thank you" I said happily and returned to nix who had taken a bow and arrow

Master frost began to teach us,showing us how to use our weapons but befor we could get far something happened that stopped him
There was a really loud bang,so loud we had to cover our ears
Master frost looked around and up at the sky as birds fled from their trees from the loud noise
"All of you,go deep into the forest,stay there!I will be back for you!" He shouted getting all of our attention
Some of the kids wimpered and ran off to the forest
I looked up at master frost worried
"W-whats going on?"
"Get to the forest andrew,I-I dont have time to explain"he said to me,fear in his eyes,as he ran away towards our home
I-iv never seen master frost scared befor
"Come on andrew!" Nix said tugging my arm
I snapped out of my daze and ran with her into the forest

...befor I....any of us could even try understand what was going on an explosion ripped through the forest
I was lifted off my feet by the force and thrown....I...

Ears ringing
Body hurts
Eyes burn
I tryed to push myself to my feet
I wimpered,everything hurts
But I forced myself to look around

My eyes widened when I saw that the whole forest was burnt to the ground
Craters all over the ground
The air and ground was covered in a thick layer of ash
"N-nix!?" I called scared and confused
"Mom!?dad!?"
I shouted as I took a step foward only to fall from a burning pain in my left leg
"What happened.." I cryed softly pushing myself back to my feet and limping foward

Andrew limped,his leg bleeding from a wound he didint even realise was there
His eyes burned from the thick cloud of dust and ash
His fur was burnt and dirty
Ash stuck to it like glue

He kept walking,not thinking of what he was looking for
Anything,anyone
He called out again and again for his freinds...his mother and father

But as he walked he saw a small figure on the ground covered in ash
With a gasp he forced himself to run foward to it,almost collapsing as I he got close
"N-nix?" He said with a wimper reaching down to wipe the dust off her face
She was cold,her breathing had stopped
...she was gone
"No....nix..." he wimpered tears rained down from his eyes
"W-why did this happen nix...." he cryed covering his face with his paws

But befor he could cry anymore for his loss
He heard a screem

(I think theres some spelling mistakes but I was too lazy to fix them)
