chapter 5:lessons learnt to late

He charged forward sword drawn
But his effort was futile
He was but a mear pup,he had no knowledge on how to fight
While these..soldiers do
He was going to loose,no matter how hard he fought.

Befor he realised,his body was stunned and impaled by the enemys weapon
The pain to much for his small bodt to handle
His mind trying to numb the pain as he fell into darkness

................................

But...this wasent the end of his story
Fate had more in mind
And so did the gods

As the smoke and fires left the land
His home now turned to ash
Their allies arrive.
Their small armys shocked and horrified by the site

The land was completely destroyed
As if the gods themselves fought here
The ground razed by flames
Craters riddled the ground around the clans home,or whats left of it
Everything was gone
No life will ever grow here again
But in all of this,the Sky's parted
A sign,there still must be some alive
"Send the troops foward,look for survivors!"
The clan leader earth clan said
Their troops rushed foward digging through the rubble and corpses for any life
But they couldn't find anything
The day was slowly turning to night
"It wont be long now,the void clan will be here soon"

The void clan,not much is know about them but all clans know that when theirs death,they come to take the bodys
"We will have to leave,theres nothing left...their all gone" the words left their leaders throat with pain and anger
Who would do this?
Why?

The iron clan had made peace,be it even fragile
But there was nothing to be done now
And soon the banners and troops of the armys left into the sunset back to their homes

Nightfall came like a giants shadow
Along with a storm
Strange figure appeared,as if out of thin air
And walked towards the destruction
Some walked with strange bone like armour and weapons,while others brought large packs for the corpses
They began their scavenge
Picking up the bodys of the dead and dragging them into the storm

A large group went toward what once was the center of the clan
...where most body's lie
They scavenged,just like normal
Until one found the small body of Andrew
His life still clinging to his body
And for a brief moment,his eyes opened and looked at its face

It looked back at him through its bone mask
He could only see so much before passing out again
Feminine in features,young,and as tall as him

And as she picked him up the storm parted,sun broke through around them
The others jumped back afraid
But not her,she didn't know why,but something kept her where she is

"Shadow!get out the light!"
A voice called out
It was her mother
She looked worryingly at her daughter
"Mother look,the gods rays dont hurt us!" She said,smiling under her mask
When she said that they all realised
That the sun wont hurt her
"Your daughter is a sun walker?" Some of them said
She looked at the others just as shocked
"I...I never knew"

...............

"M...mom.....dad..." Andrew whimpered
His dreams all turning to nightmares of his parents and what happened to his clan

And because of this he soon woke
His head hurt along with his chest
"Y-your awake" he heard a voice,a young one
But it was far to dark to see anything
"Who's there?" He said,a little afraid
"I..im shadow"
"I-im andrew...shadow w-where are you?"
"Im right next to you,cant you see me?"
"No,its...its really dark"
"O-oh I forgot your a light bringer"
"A light bringer?"
"You know,where ever your kind goes the sun follows"
"Well what are you then?"
"Mom said we're called void walkers"

"VOID WALKERS!?"

Sorry its been so bloody long since the last update but I had to take care of my poor little foxy,they where very sad =(
