"So what's going to happen to (Y/n)? She can stay in Haddonfield, right?" Gabby broke the icy silence quietly, her grey eyes glittering with worry.
"Absolutely not!" Your mother's voice went up several octaves - her tone high-pitched and anxious.
"Yes." Dr. Loomis nodded; causing you all to stare at him.
"Of course she can't! She's got a rampaging killer hunting her down - are you nuts?!" Your mother shrieked in panic, standing up and slamming her hands against the table.
"(Y/n)'s always been the key to Michael's mentality - whether you like that fact or not Miss (L/n). We can stop the oncoming bloodshed if we keep her in Haddonfield." He explained impatiently.
"You're using my daughter as...as bait! How dare you?" She spat back at him, her overprotective attitude rising.
"Do you want to be responsible for dozens upon dozens of deaths? Because if you don't help me, I can't stop Michael." Dr. Loomis replied coldly - growing annoyed by her constant coddling.
"I want to help, Mom. I want to stay in Haddonfield." You decided bravely.
"No way. I'm not losing you to a deranged psychopath! I-I...I don't want you to end up like...like Ethan." She brokenly whispered; tears dripping down her cheeks and falling onto the table.
"Mom..." You didn't know what to say - your heart softening at her shaking state whilst you thawed towards your mother.
"I know you're scared...I'm scared too. But if we don't help stop Michael - someone else might lose their husband, or maybe even their daughter. We have to make sure he doesn't hurt anyone - and if that means baiting him out...then so be it." You touched her shoulder comfortingly and wanted her to see where you were coming from.
"Well said, (Y/n), well said." Dr. Loomis smiled in relief; ignoring your mother's piercing glare.
"You're so awesome, (Y/n) - I want to help in any way that I can." Gabby chimed in softly.
"So what's the plan?" You asked the child psychologist gingerly - a little nervous to stand up against a killer.
"Go about your business like usual. Michael will most likely strike on Halloween, seeing as it was his favourite holiday. He'll make his move then. Now...Gabby was it?" He answered and then went to continue, your friend giving a small nod of clarification.
"You need to stick by (Y/n). Both of you keep an eye out, Michael will definitely be looking out for you. I don't know what he'll look like, but what I do know is that he'll be wearing some sort of mask. If you see something suspicious, contact me." Dr. Loomis finished seriously, passing you a little card.
"Do you...Do you really think he's coming to kill me...?" You asked in a tiny voice, gazing at him fearfully.
"I can't say. He's not just after you, although you may be his main target." He responded ominously.
"Who else could Michael Myers be after?" Gabby frowned in confusion and he sighed - his face grave again.
"He's also after his little sister, Laurie Strode. That's her adopted name, her real one is Angel Myers." Dr. Loomis told her unhappily, folding his arms.
"Her name's Angel, but I call her Boo."
"Angel was the only person Michael truly trusted, aside from me." You softly confessed; remembering your childhood friend a bit. The memories were blurred and confusing, but they were beginning to return nonetheless.
