Gabby tackled you onto the ground, trying to slam the knife right into your throat as she let loose an animalistic growl. Had she been brainwashed or abused to be this deranged? She was like a crazy animal, baring its fangs the moment its master instructed it to. You curled your fingers around her hands and fought against the oncoming stab - struggling to hold her back. Then a surge of rage overwhelmed you, the sudden fury giving you enough strength to shove her away.

What kind of anger was that? Whatever it was, you'd have to figure that out later. Snatching up a fragment of glass from the ground, you held it up aggressively, silently telling her to back off. A cold laugh came from the girl, the laugh only intensifying your mad state. You charged at Gabby and dug the shard into her shoulder, an outraged shout of pain slipping through her mouth. You gave her a small smirk, which sent her anger through the roof.

She slapped you sharply, causing you to be temporarily dazed. Taking this chance, she grabbed your shoulders and kneed you in the stomach, making you groan in pain. Since when had Gabby been so cunningly cruel? Once you'd collapsed to the floor she kicked you again, causing you to be winded. Ouch. She tried to land another hit but you grabbed her hand and twisted it, kicking her away from you.

"Stop resisting and accept it (Y/n)!" Gabby hissed in frustration, blind in her determination to silence you.

"I'm not accepting my death if that's what you're asking. You're crazy!" You responded wildly.

"Ahahahahaha!" She laughed and pushed you backwards, climbing atop you as she wrapped her hands around your neck.

"Gabby don't! You're...You're sick. We can get you help, we can-we can fix this!" You switched tactics and tried to console her - not wanting to die.

"Fix what? I'm carrying out our leader's wishes. I mean seriously, have you ever heard of the phrase "curiosity killed the cat"?" Gabby asked innocently, taunting a little.

"But satisfaction brought it back!" You choked out whilst she tightened her hold on you.

"See that's where you're wrong. The dead cannot be revived. Nighty-night, (Y/n)." She sweetly cooed.

Her grip continued to get tighter and tighter, cutting off your oxygen and slowly killing you. Flashes of memories flooded through your mind, all of them happy ones consisting of you and Gabby. How could she have secretly been a crazy cult member? Slaying the innocent and obeying a horrid ruler...How did this happen? Black spots danced across your vision whilst it grew blurry, your body going limp. Michael... where was Michael...?

As if on command someone threw her off; enraged themselves as they checked you were alive. Worried hands pressed for your pulse, blue orbs shining with relief when you opened your eyes. It was Michael! Oh thank goodness... he'd gotten there in the nick of time. Your head was in his lap, his hands now cradling your face upside-down. You flashed him a weak smile, coughing a little due to the violent strangling Gabby had done.

"I-I'm okay...I'm just a little dazed. It's good to see you." You breathed softly.

"For fucks sake, this is getting ridiculous. I have to perform my duty! Stop getting in my way!" Gabby twitched unstably, getting to her feet as she went to try again. Before she could however, someone grabbed her by the waist, speaking into her ear soothingly. It was another person in cloaked attire, the mysterious male tugging Gabby away.

"Shh, Gabs, shh... Look, it's your friend (Y/n). You loved talking to her, so forget about the orders for now. Snap out of it... for me~?" He talked in a tender tone, calming her down.

"But our Master-"

"What he doesn't know won't hurt him. You know Giovanni keeps secrets."
